fatgirl slim! lol
Hi guys....I started the cambridge diet at the beginning of the summer and managed to lose 24lbs....sadly i came off track and gained what i had lost :( I really need to find a diet thats right for my lifestyle . Im at college 2 days a week now and work 40hrs a week but i work with food so theres sooo much temptation around me! Thats why i felt the cambridge diet would be best as for me i think its all or nothing!!! I spose its kinda a bad time to be thinking about dieting....eg. xmas lol!! But if i get any bigger i think ill start to become depressed and angry at myself!! If anyone has any inspiration they would like to throw my way or some good advice i would be very grateful!!! Amanda :) x x

Hiya amanda :)
I'm exactly the same as u, lost 21lbs in the summer then went off to glastonbury n never got back on track so here I am trying again!! Started a few weeks ago but I've just been on and off and not rly stuck to it. Lost a little bit tho so I'm happy, as when I'm not on a diet of some description I'm just constantly piling it on! My aim for Xmas is to just stay the same or lose a few, can't afford to put anything else on, ma gorgeous party dresses I started buying in the summer are AWFULLY tight these days!!

I love this forum everyones so helpful and it's a fab place to come when u need a kick up the bum!!
I love CD cos I need food totally taken out of the equation too, much less pressure to know u can't eat anything!! On other diets I'm always like...ooh well I'll have this but then I'll be EXTRA good tomorrow ;-) haha doubt it!!

So enjoy :) and come on here whenever ya need a good talking to :) xxx leanne xx

Just aim for one good day at a time. And then the next one. Perhaps give yourself a reward (bubble bath, CD) when you have a week of good days.

There's never a bad time to start a new diet. I started mine (again) last monday and am aiming for 7lbs to lose before Xmas. I've got some challenges along the way eg lots of parties and meals out, but that's good because i'm hoping it will keep me in check and i'll be losing weight rather than gaining during the festive season.

Stay focused, keep positive and you'll be fine!
