Starving today...what can I buy to eat straight away?

I appear to have a massive appetite today so to plan ahead I'm going to pop to Tesco at lunch to buy some more free food as my lunch just isn't cutting it today. Obviously in this cold weather the thought of eating fruit or salad does NOT appeal and I'd raid the chocolate aisle instead, so can anyone suggest something that I can buy from a supermarket and eat straight away (doesn't need microwaving, etc) and stay on plan? I've allocated my HEXs today so can't use them up but I'm not opposed to using a few syns.

Thanks

I like the packs of mini chicken fillets - tikka or chinese or something and a pack of mini tomatoes to nibble on.

Can you use a kettle? If so, mugshots!

Nope, no kettle use (travelling between two jobs is when I can get to Tesco, can't eat at the second job).

Chicken and tomatoes sound good! Is the warm chicken from the hot food counter okay or not? I seem to remember reading something about it not being free. It would be nicer than some cold chicken.

Hot chicken is probably okay if you remove the skin - there has been debate on the pre cooked chicken in the past, but my personal opinion is that its probably fine - I really cant see why supermarkets would want to inject fat into things if they dont have to! Probably best to go for a standard one rather than flavoured or extra tasty -could be syns in the marinades.

crabsticks, cold cuts of lean meat, rivita minis as a hex b option. I dont see a problem with cooked chicken as long as skin is removed. I thought they cooked them rotiserie (SP?) style so the fat drips off?

I know you said not fruit & veggies, but I was going to suggest bananas & carrots. Both are sweetish & filling and free;) What about baked beans these are ok cold or tinned tuna.

Could you invest in a kettle which you can plug into the lighter in your car? Then you can have yummy mugshots:D

I know you've prob had lunch my now, but just to put down that i'd go to deli counter and get some roast beef slices (just pull off the fatty edges etc) i love proper deli meat hams off bone, roast beef etc, then if you EE just get some fruit for pudding.
