Do any of you make your own stir fry sauce?
Or can you recommend some low syn ones please!
Bought a spicy schwezuan one from Tesco - tiny jar = 25 syns!!! Looked tomato based so thought i was making a good guess!! How wrong was I! I am having a prawn stir fry tonight, i have some low fat creme fraiche and some garlic and spring onions, may just make some wonderful (?) blendl! LOL!
But seriously, I would love some suggestions as I eat a lot f stir frys....

iv tried making my own in the past but they just end up dry.. so iv been using morrisons ambient pouches, they'r about 70p, and they come in 5 spice, sweet and sour and a green tai (never tried the green tai) they'r all 9.5 syns, and can serve 3 i recon. they are worth it. i think the sweet and sour goes so well with fish, and i hate fish lol

Thanks ladies. TBH I hate making things like sauces so I think I need a trip to Morrisons!

There's a few Sharwoods ones that are quite low if you can't be bothered - I like the Szechuan Tomato stir fry jar which is 6.5 syns for the whole jar. The Thai Oyster and Thai Basil is 6 but I've not tried that.

You do need to be very careful as chinese sauces vary so much - my husband likes the Sharwoods Kung Po but that's a stonking 39 syns a jar

Hiya, i have a lot of stir fry's and use the 'stirfry frylight' and use a bit of cajun spice and lots of soy sauce, its not overly 'saucy' but tastes really nice with lots of flavour! :) xx

hiya i made stir fry tonight and just use frylight lots of peppers spring onion and stir fry veg packs (bean sprouts etc ) fry them upin lots of chilli ginger garlic and cajun spices then add soy sauce just at the end. not too dry with a nice kick to the flavours:)

The Blue Dragon ambient pouches are pretty good - they serve 2 and the black bean and chow mein ones work out aroung 6 syns each, others are slightly more but still not too bad.
