I get so annoyed with myself

Just doing it this time
I have had a few weeks of problems - (unfortunately) 2 close family deaths x 2 funerals - and the anxieties and related to do with same ! work issues too, so been feeling rather down and picking - picking - picking. However, last thursday I finally got my head back into gear and weighed myself this morning (officially weigh on Tuesdays have had a couple of STS's at 11.3) - my scales are pretty accurate and they were showing 11.1 - whoopeedooo.

So why - do I this afternoon when given a box of chocolate chip cookies - luxury ones - come home and systematically munch my way through them!

As I said, I am now pretty annoyed with myself.

Gotta do better before Tuesdays weigh in have my FIRST Christmas 'do' tomorrow - a family buffet - bother.
 
Hi, sorry to hear about your losses in the family, give yourself a break a few cookies as a one off won't do any harm :hug99:
 
you've been through alot of emotional turmoil and you're just comforting yourself. unfortunately like most of use with food issues, we turn to food in our hour of need.

don't be too hard on yourself. if you want to get on plan stock up on low syns snacks so that if you do overinduldge you won't go too far over.
 
In that situation, i dont think thered be many people who wouldnt do the same! Youve done really well so far to get back on track so dont beat yourself up over a pack of biscuits (even if they were luxury ones!)

If nothing else, youll think twice if faced with the same thing again. Youve had a binge and discovered it wasnt worth it (i did the same a few days ago but with a kfc bucket...it REALLY was not as good as id remembered!!!)

Just make sure youve not pushed yourself too far and put too much pressure on yourself to be 'good' at whats anyway a difficult time. :)
