hello
i think slimming world works best if you dont have bread (and at least dont have bread and weetabix). Therefore I would use your healthy extra in the morning or lunch.
Breakfasts I have are:
2 Weetabix and Skimmed milk (and that leaves enough milk for my coffees in the day)
fruit and a syn free yoghurt (i cant stand muller light as sickly sweet but like shape zero)
cooked breakfast (only have time at weekend) - lean bacon, fried egg (fry light), mushrooms and tinned tomatoes (u can have beans too but you need to think about your 1/3 superfree so i dont bother)
lunches - i find these hardest if i have used my HE but choices are:
pasta with a tomato, onion, mushroom and pepper sauce (add sweetcorn, chicken, tuna etc). i make these the day before
salads (meat/prawns with salad - i find this an expensive option and i dont tend to do it in winter)
sandwich (if havent used healthy extra)
jacket potato with beans or home made chilli (make the jacket the potato the night before and then microwave)
cous cous with cherry toms, cucumber and spring onions and chick peas (use lemon and salt and pepper to season the cous cous) - plain cous cous is free.
left over yesterdays dinner (esp if we are having a casserole with veg). just do a bit extra, microwave the name day
home made soup (we bought a flask specifically for soup). good flavours are carrot and coriander, curried parsnip, leek and potato, and i made a nice veg with ham too.
i find slimming world teas really easy tbh and dont tend to use any syns in them. i make:
casseroles (made with tomatoes, onions, peppers and mushrooms and then either chicken, beef). also made it with the low syn sausages (think morrisons low fat sausages range are 1/2 syn, cook them first and then dice and casserole). it would serve four so about 2 sausages each so 1 syn.
fish (steamed), chips (slimming world style) and peas (and salad)
ham chips and egg (then use bits of ham for the soup i mntioned above)
mixed grill
any meat or fish with veg and potatoes (dont necessarily need the potatoes0
stir fries (beef, chicken or prawns seasoned with soy sauce, add onions, peppers, mushrooms and garlic. serve with noodles or rice
home made tomato based curries with rice
hope that gives you some ideas
