Small losses in week 1??

My friend who started on 100% Lipotrim weighed herself today and has only lost 1/2 kg in the last 5 days!

She has only 2 stone to loose and feels like she's gone through hell for nothing at the moment :cry:

Has anyone else experienced such little weight loss in their first week?

I lost 6 lbs in my first week, and had my second weigh in this morning and lost another 6 lbs. Have to say I went through hell in week one... its only now that I feel fine everyday.

Tell her to stick at it and drink plenty of water.. she could still lose weight on days 6 and 7.

Tara.....we had someone complain about a small loss a few weeks back and she couldn't understand why? It turned out, if I recall correctly, that she'd been putting fresh strawberries in her shakes and had had a couple of hot chocolates! Might not sound like much but evidently the amount of carbs was too much to tip her into ketosis....there is usually an explanation! When you are starting out on LT you really do need to do it by the book, a few weeks down the line, maybe, you learn what, if anything, you can get away with and still lose.

I have to say though that the best losers, those who lose 3-4lbs week after week (like my fellow Golden Girls Daisy and Su) are the ones who don't deviate and stick to LT 100%
 
I only had 23lbs to lose and still had a loss of 5lbs on my first week- my pharmacist did stress to me that because I had only a "small" amount to lose my losses would be significantly smaller. Are you sure she is 100%?? In fairness she could still lose over the next 2 days and perhaps her own scales isnt accurate- water really is the key to this my first week I was drinking 4-6litres of water a day.

I think that it's just that I did a sneaky weigh in and saw that I'd lost 5lb on day 5 and she was hoping that she would have at least lost at least 2 or 3 lbs.

I said that she should keep on it for at least the next week at see how it goes....
