I know i really should not weigh myself mid week but its my first week and been sticking to the plan 100% and it said that i have put on now im dishartened and dissapointed as i weigh in on thursday :cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry:

It could be water retention :) just give yourself a chance to get to the end of the week, its only your first week! Sometimes it can take a while for your body to start losing weight

If you go to class, try not to weigh at home. I used to do this, and my weight would be all over the place from one HOUR to the next. One time I'd weigh myself and I'd have lost, then the next I'd have gained 2 lb! I never weigh at home now.

If you're doing this alone, then just try not to weigh at all until your WI day. And always weigh at the same time. Simple things like having a drink or eating lunch will affect your weight, so try to keep to the same routine on WI day.

If you attend a class, DONT weigh yourself at home!

I used to do this, get really worked up if my scales were showing a gain compard to class then starve up to weigh in.

Keep up the work, follow the plan and Im sure you will be fine on Thursday - good luck!! x

I weighed myself this morning, it looked like a 1lb loss. I went to group tonight and it was a 4lb loss

I am staying off the scales from now on! :sigh:

Weighing yourself outside of class is the quickest way to madness as far as SW goes. I've dine it and the scales I used were wrong and I was predicting a loss of about 4lb and only got 1 and was devastated. It's not worth the stress!

This is why you shouldn't weigh yourself and learn to trust the plan.

Chances are your scales are wrong, but the danger is of either losing heart and just bingeing anyway, or think you've lost loads and adding treats.

Sounds corny I know, but trust the plan and the weekly weigh-in and it will work.
