You can do it for one hun, but i think the longer you do it the better. A week is the minimum though x x x

Thanks was gonna start it on 17th of Dec but i reckon it might be little to late and i dont want to pile on the weight but i want to have a feast at christmas :17729:

Hee hee... Me too.. I was going to join ww but i have about 20 shakes leftover from the past months and as i have some spare shakes i am going to have my Chrimbo as i want it (with loads of "wrong food" probably) and come back on LT in the New year to kick start me... I might then venture over to ww... I know i won't have as much to lose as i did when i started this time so it shouldn't take me as long (fingers crossed)

I LOVE CHRIMBO!!! lol

Why have u so many shakes??? ohh i cant wait nuts and beer, cheese and crackers, sweets and chocolate ohhhhh my mouth is watering.

How can you propose to do this to yourselves after all you've been through on LT? Don't suppose it's occurred to you that you might not actually want to eat all that crap? I can't even eat two normal meals a day yet and I've been eating for a fortnight! X

I don't know.. I have missed them out from when i started.. It is bad really, but will be cheaper!! lol
I haven't purposely not had them (apart from the odd one or 2 when i have been unable to have them), but i do find it hard to fit them in.. I have only had 2 today so i have a spare one again... i think it's cos i make them with slushy water i have to wait 2-3 hours for my first shake from when i get up (I have tried banging ice cubes with a hammer, but somehow it's not the same! lol)

I have bought loads of Xmas food, it's not good really... The others on here will tell me off!! lol
I will be interested to see if i eat the amount i used to .. I really hope not.. I am going to exercise some self control (I can say that now cos there are no quality street, roses, matchmakers, biscuits....STOP IT!!!!!!! in front of me!!) x x x

Whoops!!! We are sharing a fantasy Sandra.. Just a dream x x

Don't you find that because your weight is not an issue through bad eating habits, in some ways it will be easier for you?..

I think that (in my case anyway) LT doesn't help to change your eating habits easily... You go from eating nothing to wean yourself back into eating, but that larger person that ended up on LT in the first place is still there. I suppose it's like a recovering alcoholic, only our downfall is food and not drink. That is something you have not had to contend with, but a lot of us have, and i have said before.. LT is a quick diet, and gets the weight off quick, but i don't know if my brain has had time to catch up with it and get geared up for the changes i need to make regarding my eating!! lol

Seriously Su, I think that you are going to be shocked at how little you can physically stomach! I've got to force myself to make a meal, especially tonight cos Paul is out for dinner with clients so I was contemplating another shake just cos I couldn't be arsed to eat! But I'd had tfr for brekkie and lunch so I thought that I had better make the effort....

You've been on the diet as long as me, longer by the time that you come to refeed.....I'd put money on you not pigging out like you think you're gonna do! X

I really really hope that that is the case and that will make my Christmas perfect..
Another problem i have/had (I don't know now) is i don't get that "full up" feeling.. It's as if i can eat and eat and eat and never get to that stage where you feel physically ill because of overeating.... I hope that i am more aware now, and will not gorge on food "just because it's there", but i am preparing to come back in January because that is what will happen if the past is anything to go by... I hope that makes sense...

I really do not mean to sound so flippant, but i also do not want to mentally set myself up for a fall.... Believe me when i say that coming back on here if i have put back on a lot of weight is going to be terrifying for me, and not something i am particularly looking forward to admitting to xxx

Not flippant! I really think that you are going to be surprised......I'm going to wear really tight velvet jeans on Xmas day, just to remind me not to eat too much! X

I might go and buy a maternity frock so i have growing room!!!

ONLY JOKING!!! lol x x
I will wear my nice new size 14 clothes, which should be even looser by then x x

If you can get into it now then, believe me, it will be too big on Xmas day!

I have to tumble dry my size 12 jeans now.....cos they're too baggy around the waist!!!!

Are you still aiming for another 11lb then???

Yes and firm up what's left behind!

For all your joking I have to say that both of you guys are a complete inspiration. You are both amazing. I am just planning to have a nice Xmas dinner but go easy on carbs (I do love parsnips though) and then straight back to TFR on boxing day. New year isn't a problem as I will be working nights all over new year so no food or drink for me. It's quite a relief in a way although I do hate not seeing in new year with my OH and my gorgeous little girl.
