can i still use my old pedometer to record bonus points, its the one that came out a couple of years ago

there's a new pedometer out now that works out the propoints of the movement that you do. Unfortunately I lost my old one, but I have noticed that the minimum steps have increased with the new one and I can't judge about the propoints because unfortunately I don't have the old one any more. I wanted to wear both for a while and see what it said regarding points, but... sadly I was a plonker the other day and attached it badly to my waist and lost it :cry:
