How much do I wish this was a success story - last Go

At the beginning of this year I decided that I was going to spend one more year trying to lose weight and if I wasn't successful then I was going to rap my hand in and just eat properly and exercise.

I have every type of diet ever printed - so many that I could start a diet book library!!

So far this year I have tried

1. Weightwatchers - 2 months 3 pounds off
2. Slimming world - 2 months 2 pounds off
3. Cambridge - 2 weeks 10 pounds
4. Dash diet - 6 weeks 5 pounds
6. Calorie counting - on and off - 0 pounds
7. exercise - No weight off but my legs and bum have toned up

I thought each one of these was going to be my saviour - but no

I am now exactly the same weight I was at the beginning of the year. Although I have done all these diets I have really tried and I can honestly say that although I wasn't 100% I was 80 - 90 % so much so that I have stopped drinking in the week and now limit myself to only a certain amount of wine and/or vodka at the weekend. - for me that is a massive sacrifice - not that i am an alcoholic but a glass of wine at the end of the working day is what makes the world go round

So as a last ditch attempt I am going to try Low Carb - I am going to give it my all until 24 Jan 2011 which is 10 weeks and in this time I want to have lost between 15 and 20 pounds and if I do then I will stick to it - what do you think - any help and/or opinons would really help

thanks for reading:wave_cry:

You just need to find the right diet for you!

Ive been a yo yo dieter for about 12 - 13 years now, been chubby, overweight, obese, very underweight, then I gave up with the diets... got on the scales after a while of not caring... 16 stone almost... I started a very low carb meal replacement diet on May the 25th of this year, with the goal of being 9 and a half stone, Im over half way there now, i just had to find what worked for me and stick at it, Ive had weeks where ive lost over 8lbs... theres been weeks when Ive fallen off the wagon and gained a couple of pounds or stayed the same but as long as I keep on going, the weight is getting lower and I will get to goal weight.

If I can do it, anyone can!

Oh but I have had to knock the booze on the head... and I used to drink like a fish!
