"Dieting" leading to heart problems/other health issues *interesting article*

I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this since losing weight? I have lost around 6st in about a year and a half and during that time, and a lot more since I lost it all, I have been experience heart palpatations. I must admit, my weight loss has not always been done a healthy and sensible way, and I have been known to yo-yo and do a "detox". This article seems to correlate the heart problems and "dieting". Just wondering if anyone else has had the same?
I just find it ironic. I lost weight for my health, because I didn't want heart problems, and since losing weight, I have them.
I have had ECGs and heart monitors etc and apparently all is "normal", yet still I get them - could it be because of weight loss?
Not so much looking for advice about the palpatations, just seeing if anyone else is in the same way. Or alternativlely, any health problems you have gained since trying to make yourself healthier!

I haven't lost much yet but I am very sensitive to caffeine and get palpitations whenever I have more than one or two coffees so hope this doesnt happen because they can be ruddy frightening!

Yeah, I cut out caffeine 2 years ago, as I thought that was what was causing them. But still have them and now just extra tired and can't have caffeine to pick me up :(

Yep, I can still have a little caffeine without making a difference (2-3 bouts a week with or without caffeine) But with more than a couple of cups of coffee a day and i'm up to 10-20 bouts a day and thats when it gets scary! My energy levels have not been the same since i dropped to current level of caffeine constantly Zzzzzzzzzzzzz......

I've had a heart echo and nothing abnormal detected so they reckon i'm just very sensitive to it
