Hi,
I have been searching the 'Syn Value' section for a few days now and still cant seem to get a straight answer!

I buy the 10p packets of instant noodles from the Tesco's Value range, throw away the flavour sachet and cook the noodles with a chicken stock cube.
Does this mean the noodles are now free? or do i still have to syn them without the sachet?

Any help would be very appreciated :D

i wud assume this is free as the noodles are dried and these r free on ee and green, the syns r prob for the sachet so if u arent usin it id says they r free, cuz stock cubes are free too :)xx

Thanks christie! :)
I was thinking the same, but because they taste so good (probably better than with the sachet!) it feels like i'm cheating! :)

I'd agree with that theory, I asked my old consultant about it once and thats what she thought. I have a huge stash of tesco value/ASDA smartprice noodles in my cupboards, they are perfect for me (OH doesnt like noodles) so can easily do just one portion, bin the sachet (which are minging anyway with the cheap versions!) and serve with whatever stirfry/meal I am doing.

Masses cheaper too - cant believe how much a pack of egg dried noodels is in comparison

Oh i love the value/smart price noodles.
Never thought of doing them with a stock cube though. Gonna try this for lunch tomorrow !

so they should be free providing you dont use to flavour that comes with the noodles yeah???

also... what egg noodles r free? any make?xx

Thanks x
