Can't get used to not feeling hungry

Day 9.

I am still going strong. What I am finding completely bizarre is the feeling of NOT being hungry. Normally I'm famished every couple of hours and having to rush to the fridge or the toaster.

It was one o'clock before I realised I hadn't had my first shake of the day.

But the thirst...... omg, it's raging. Which is good I guess, because it means I'm not forgetting to drink all my water. Easily on 2 litres at work and more when I get home.

Hope you're all doing well. :)

I feel like that too Zayna, but i am scared that i will go back to my old ways....

I love the strictness of LT, it is all there for you to follow....

I thought that this far down the line my tastes would have changed, but i have tried loads of hot drinks since starting (tea, coffee, green tea etc.) but they taste as foul as the day i started LT.The only difference i can tell is that sweetener tastes sooooooo artificial and bitter!
I don't want to get hungry, although i think in the past i ate because it was nice and sweet and quick (like having crisps and cake instead of making a healthy sandwich) rather than through hunger. Hopefully my attitude will change.

Well done on managing all the water!! That's great!! x x

Hi Zayna, Personally I think it has something to do with not having the carbs. When i eat carbs i just have to keep on eating them and get a real craving in my stoach that feels like a big empty hole that needs to be filled. As soon as i go sole source and stop eating carbs the hunger ( after a few days) just seems to disappear. I also think its because we have no food choices on a diet like this and so are not constantly thinking what can i have for my breakfast, lunch, dinner etc. It does make life a little easiler to bear though doesn't it?
