1. Place the diced chicken into a dish or bowl. Mix all the marinade ingredients together and pour over the chicken. Cover and marinade in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
2. Preheat the oven to 180ºC/350ºF/Gas 4. Drain the chicken, then skewer the chunks onto the kebab sticks (usually 3-4 pieces per stick)
3. Place on a baking tray, spray with Fry Light and cook for 15-20 minutes until chicken is cooked.
4. Whilst the chicken is cooking, make the sauce by mixing the peanut butter, water and garlic together in a pan over a low heat. Heat until the sauce begins to thicken slightly, but don't worry if it seems runny as it will thicken as it cools.

Jo's homemade chicken satay - send us your pictures!
5. Remove from the heat, allow to cool slightly and then add the remaining sauce ingredients. Beat until smooth and serve together with the satay, hot or cold.
However i make the chicken and vegetables in a pot with the chicken marinade and then pour the sauce over the chicken, veg and i make syn free egg fried rice :)

On Friday i made a chicken tikka masala for 1/2syn and rice with SW chips, it felt like a real treat on a Friday night, hubby loved it as well. I got the recipe from the 7 days to success booklet.

am confused, some things people say are FREE they then say they were but not anymore?! how can they expect people to stick to slimming world if the rules change?!

Potatoes are free on green and EE.
But there is some debate on the SW crisps as it is considered that it is easier to overeat them - i.e. you could easily eat 2 potatoes worth as a snack, whereas you wouldn't eat 2 jacket potatoes... if that makes sense?

Personally I've only made them a couple of times and it's quite a lot of hassle for a snack, so haven't made more than 1 small potato - which is plenty as you slice them so thinly.

The general advice is enjoy them syn free if you wish, but if your losses start slowing down, it may be worth starting to syn them.
