hi everyone , my name is dermot im from ireland and i started lipotrim on monday. im gona do it for 4 weeks and then refeed for a week as i want to lose 2 stone.. can anyone advise me if they think i can lose this much weight in that space of time and also if i will have energy to train on it as i like to run and lift weights.. also is the first week the hardest? thank you :)

Hi Dermot, and welcome to the LT forum...

I am assuming you are male, and they say that men can expect to lose approximately a stone and a half a month. This does not take into account your 1st weeks loss which is usually higher, so in theory you could well manage 2 stone in your first month.

Regarding the exercise, i would be a bit careful in the beginning and listen to your body if it thinks you are pushing it too hard.. I am not the best person to advise regarding exercise, cos i am a lazy mare. I am sure someone more knowledgeable will post soon.

The first week is a nightmare!!! You really need to keep as busy as you can, drink loads of water, and log on here as often as you can. It really does help.... After the 1st few days you will go into ketosis and it will become much easier, and your 1st weigh in will have you jumping for joy!! lol
During the first week, stay strong and keep reminding yourself why you are doing this, and what you want to achieve....

We are all here to support you, so good luck x

Hi Dermot and welcome. I'm in Ireland too, in case my name didn't give it away. I'm doing Target Slim myself which is a bit like Lipotrim.

Just want to say Good Luck!

Hey Dermot, there are a few of us from Ireland on here so you're not alone. Like Su says, you probably can lose 2st in 4 weeks as men seem to lose more each week. It is going to be hard, and you will probably question why you're doing this but it will be worth it in the end so stick with it and use this forum, the support on here is invaluable.

Best of luck with your first week...don't forget to drink a lot of water :D

wow , thanks so much for those kind words of support. ye i am male , im 29 and from kildare. thanks a lot for the advice and support , really does help and the feeling of not being alone in a mission like this is heart warming and very encouraging. im gona stick it out , not finding it too horrible , just fighting some cravings this week and am a bit dizzy when i stand up too fast even though im drinking 4 litres of water a day. looking forward to weight day on monday :D

Hi Dermot, welcome and good luck.

You'll find plenty of help on here, as to your particular queries, check out Andy (Rigney) he's lost a fantastic amount of weight and he trains like he's entering the next Olympics.....I'm sure that he'll be only too happy to advise you!

Hi Dermot.. im in Dublin Ireland...:) lots of Irish lads and lasses about,,this place is great for support,,keep logging on and keep yourself busy! :)

:) Hiya. Im also from ireland. Good few of us on here. This is such a fab diet!!! You'll lov it and have so much weight off by christmas you'll b so proud. On here is great for help with questions, support and motivation. Take the exercise easy for the first week and just listen to your body, its going through a huge adjustment and running on very little so dont push it for the first while. Your body simply wont b fit. Try and time ur shakes to corrospond with ur training as well. I personally found the first three weeks very tough but im so glad i stuck at it cos im nearly finished 13 weeks now and hav lost over three and a half stone. If it does get tpugh just remember that u must hav really wanted to loose d weight to have started lipotrim and thats all that matters, anything else is just your mind trying to trick u. I think men seem to find it easier than women anyway so im sure ull fly it!! Cant wait to hear how u get on!!!! ... And remember if its worth doing, its worth doing right, so stay 100%, drink all your water and dont be tempted to cheat, its not worth it. Good luck!!!! Keep us posted.

night 6 here , saturday night and im having major problems sleeping , my mind is racing every night and my belly is starving... has been happening me all week... its very annoying :-( ... does this change?

Hi Beanaldo,
Yes that's normal what you're going through. I am going through a period of it taking me ages to go asleep and I'm mad hungry a lot of the time.

I hope it'll pass soon :)

lost 15lbs in my first week woohoooo!!! feel better today , discovered i can use those little artificial sweetener tablets in my tea or coffee today too , lovely treat :D ... trained for 2 hours today too and had plenty of energy to do it. 2 more weeks on TFR should do it , then a week and a half of re-feeding. then just maintain with exercise and healthy eating :)
