to those of you that maybe cannot afford the calculater at the mo
i saw this on another site ad it works
i have tried it on mysupermarket website

if you take the cals on the food and divide by 40 that gives you pro points
i did this with a number of items when it says cals per item and it works out almost the same if not exactly the same on the pp calculater and the normal bog standard calculater doing the formula cals/40

so if it is 80 cals then divide by 40 makes 2 pro points
they said from .1-.49 round down
and .50-.99 round up
I have rounded up on most and they are pretty well compatible.
might be a good idea to keep in mind and save your self a few pennies
as the person said on the other site there is room for error and you can always double check when you fill in your tracker
but from the 6-7 items i have done tonight it works

yes, I had said that on my introduction post here. There is room for error, but it is a handy resource for when you're in a rush or when you really don't have nutritional values, just calories! (for example, Sainsbury's café food... roughly 890 calories for a slice of carrot cake! EEK!
