Hi peeps just wanted to ask.... How do you all control the urge to snack? I am terrible in the evening and most afternoon, I used to eat loads of chocolate and have KFC alot, think i was addicted actually :rolleyes: anyway, I am trying to control the urge to snack, the tabs are helping me stop doing it but i have to learn or wean myself off the snacking. Have been buying those Morrisons eat smart carrot cake slices, yeah and eating the lot. Am so ashamed of myself but I am trying to get it under control. Just wondered about other people x
 
yep im exactly the same! if food is put infront of me ill soon nibble and kfc is one of my downfalls!!
 
I just have yoghurts or grapes for snacking on. And When I do feel like snacking I try to get up and get a glass of water instead. To trick myself into thinking that it's what I went in the kitchen for lol. X
 
I like the WW chocolate wafer bars. I'm getting a chocolate hit and the fat is 3.7g (sat fats 2.3g) per bar, but I do find that having them with a cup of tea makes me feel more full. I've also taken to have a cup of tea with lunch/straight after lunch, again, making me feel more full, in fact, I've taken to have tea (black and no sugar) virtually all day long!!

In the evening, I'm starting to sort out clothes and wardrobes, seeing what I haven't worn for a while and trying it on. When things fit again, that boost is enough to keep you from snacking! I've gained four pair of jeans alone this week!!

 
I try not to have any tempting snacks that I can eat in the house otherwise I will! I snack on yoghurt or cucmber.
 
I like iced gems and sainsburys be good to yourself sweet chilli cassava snacks, they're like crisps and they are a nice treat that are in the rules. I don't really snack on healthy stuff like fruit, I still have crisps and biscuity things but just ones in the rules.

Me too, find it hard to 'snack' on healthy stuff :( Ohhhh I love iced gems! Forgot about those, will have to stock up :)
 
yeah i think the key is making sure you bulk up your meals LOTS with salad/veg. when we dont drink enough waterit can feel like were hungery too
 
How much water do you all drink a day? I dont mind drinking water but hoping i am still allowed Zero coke??

Ohhhh " I Love Diamonds" the Sainburys sweet chilli snacks sounds lush. I wont miss chocolate too much but do like a packet of crisps so may give them a go :D

See this is a real prob for me as i hate veg and salad. I can eat fruit all day long but just cannot eat veg :( I am wondering if i should see a hypnotist or something :rolleyes:

hi vicky :) :) i drink roughly ten glasses of water a day, i always have a bottle with me otherwise id never drink it
 
im a big coffee drinker so whenever i feel hungry i normally make myself a milky coffee made with at least half a cup of milk heated up in the microwave( ionly use skimmed milk) that always makes me feel full.

i try not to buy low fat snacks that are delicious such as cake bars etc because as soon as i have one i will scoff the whole lot!
