Extra Easy Confused.com- SW 2nd day

Hiya everyone

Just wondered if someone could help me. Im a ww convert to sw and thought I understood what I was meant to be doing when I was at my first class on Monday, but I just dont understand how you can eat for example as much spag bol as you want and yet still loose weight, yet on ww 1 portion of pasta was about 4 or 5 points so Im not too sure how I will possibly be able to loose weight. If I make my own chips, could I eat a whole plate full and still loose weight? Or do I have to have 1/3 and then say a steak with 1/3 plate of salad?
Im just really confused. Today Ive had 2 weetabix with 1% fat milk from the healthy a and b, and then 2 chicken breasts with salad and for tea Im planning to have steak with homemade chips and salad with an apple, pear and pineapple (juice drained) afterwards. Does this sound ok or do I need to eat more/less?

If you wanted to eat a whole plateful of SW friendly chips, then you can, that's the beauty of it. Not sure what plan you're doing but if you're doing Extra Easy, then 1/3 of your plate needs to be superfree (so essentially fruit or veg, check in your book, I believe it's the foods in orange). So you could have a whole plate of SW chips but with a salad on the side.

Fruit in tins has to be synned - whether you drain the juice or not sadly. I don't quite understand why though.

I've done both WW and SW (although WW was five years ago now) and it is difficult to get your head around how you can still lose, by eating so much. But if you stick to the plan, it will work :)
