JOES SAUSAGES

I cooked my first Joes sausages last night. They were great, did not taste like low fat ones at all, I did them on my George Foreman grill, but there was really no need to, as no fat whatsoever came out so I could have done them in the frying pan with a squirt of low fat oil.

They came in a large polystyrene box (inside a brown box) and were encased in ice blocks and they were very cold.

They would be great to use in the Tefal Actifry, so I bought some chipalatas as well as they are smaller and will go round better than big ones.

My husband would not give them a try so I had to do him some normal ones, you should have seen the fat that came out of them, it took me ages to clean the George Foreman Grill., what a mess.

I will definitely be putting in a larger order next time to get free delivery, as £6 per time is a lot, but with the packaging that goes into it, I don't think Joes could do it any cheaper.

I am going to make some Joes sausage meat patties at the end of the week with fried onions (low fat oil of course) and Actifry Chips and Mushy peas.

They have opened up a new world for me now what with the chips done in the Actifry and the syn free sausages.:eek:;);););):):):):):)
