Only 2wks after celebrating the fact that I've finally got under 200lbs, am now moaning cause some how I've managed to put back on 4lbs making me 203.5...so annoyed with myself its unreal!! Nothing has change, am still exercising the same, eating fairly well so dont even know whats caused that huge gain!! Its the most I've ever put on as well  I've been sick this past week but have still made it to my spin classes so dunno what to say :cry:

I've been looking at my progress picture I've stored at home and its great to see how far I've come but that barrier of 200 is starting to get the better of me!!

I've set myself a goal of being 190 by 22 Dec...is that realistic?

Think I'll stop ranting now :sigh:

Ah hun ... i think we all have these sticking points ... mine is 10st ... i get into 9st something, and literally hold my breath as i always end up back at 10st 1lb again. It`s enough to drive ya bonkers isn`t it !!

If you`ve been poorly your body may well be holding onto more fluid than normal, to help flush germs and toxins out. So try drinking plenty of fluids for a couple of days. Also could you have reached a bit of a plateau ? Maybe a fish week, or a bit of a shake up of days might just kick start you again ?

Don`t loose faith ... you are doing ever so well :)

Maybe being ill has thrown you slightly out of whack and your body has just held onto a bit more water or something to compensate. Don't feel too bad. Stick to it, it will come off again. My sticking point is approx 1st of weight loss (doesn't matter what my starting weight is..) Seems that 1.5st sticker is constently just out of reach

so sorry to hear this has happened, it must be so disappointing. I know that getting into the next stone barrier has taken me ages - and it is awful to think that you could get there and then gain.

It's especially bad when you don;t know what has caused it. It must be to do with the fact that you aren't feeling well - or haven't been feeling well.

Are you weighing at class or on your own scales?

My hubby gained 5lb's week before last - expected as he;'d had a very bad week - and gained a further 3lb's last week for no reason whatsoever - however he lost 4lb's this week doing nothing different.

I hope that happens for you too - you'll lose that 4lb's and will be back under that 200.

So dust yourself off - pick yourself up because you know that you can do it - and well done so far.

Best Wishes.

gilly x

Thanks guys really appreciate those comforting words! I am hoping its just done to sickness as nothing else has changed besides being ill. Not too long got back from Box-r-circuits so feeling the buzz from that, hoping it carries me till my next class on Sunday.

Again thanks guys
