I just had my fifth weigh-in. I'm down 4.5lbs and while I'm delighted with that I know that I'm nearing the end of my time with LT. I just feel inside myself that I'm over it, I'm constantly looking at the calender trying to figure out what I might lose and when and it's just kind of taking over and getting me down. I should be ecstatic to have lost another 4.5lbs but I just don't feel it. I don't want to quit until I'm at 10st but that's 16.5lbs away and I'm just not sure if I have that long left in me.

So, I decided last week that I'd stop in a few weeks, refeed and then move on to WW to lose the rest. However I just told my LT lady my plan and she said that a downfall of this diet is that other diets won't work after??!!! Can this be true? I expected that I'd have to focus hard to maintain with a balanced diet for a few weeks when I came off the shakes and refeed but after that was expecting to lose again with WW. If anybody out there has any info about LT's affect on other diets I would really appreciate it. I don't want to blow all the hard work by putting the weight back on straight after.

Well done on your weight loss hun.. That is fabulous x x

Now to your pharmacist-
I don't believe that for 1 minute!!! Perhaps she is just after your weekly fee..

As long as you refeed properly, i can't see any reason why you shouldn't lose at WW (that's what i intend to do after LT), although i am sure you will realise that the losses will be much smaller...
Personally i think she is talking twaddle!!
You do what is right for you hun x x

Ella.. I found this on an older forum hun:

"Hi,

This is my first post but I've viewed this site since I started Lipotrim and just wanted to share my experience. Having done calorie counting and exercise for almost a year and hitting a plateau I did Lipotrim to give myself a kickstart. I lost 16lbs in 10 days and then started WW. I followed the refeeding sheet exactly and also pointed all the food to make sure I wasn't going over (think the refeed days came in at about 6 - 10 points so no danger of overeating there!). I lost another 2lbs during the refeed week and have continued to lose on average 1lb a week following the WW plan fully after the refeed.

I was 1lb from my goal weight although I'm suspecting that that's a lot more after I missed the meeting last week whilst on holiday in Spain!

Just wanted to let you know that if you follow the refeed it is possible to keep off the Lipotrim weight even if you weren't on it for long! Good luck!

Thank you so much Su, I feel so much better having read that. I felt so deflated after speaking to her, I wonder how much they actually get from every LT sale to make them push it and give bad advice? It's funny, just from having that extra bit of info I feel better and more prepared for the last few weeks. 4 more full weeks of LT and 1 of refeed then...bring it on!!! :character00115:

hi i have been on LT and currently CD , I had a break between and did SW and if I stuck to plan then I did loose . I do think maybe LT lowers your metabolism a little and it takes a while to pick up again , and I maybe lost slower than I would have done before LT , but I certainly lost .
I think the biggest thing when switching from TFR to a 'normal diet ' is your expectations !! My SW consultant got very excited and told people that if you stick to it and try really hard you could loose a whole stone in 3 months ... I found this really hard and in the end have come back to TFR diets and will use SW to maintain .
\Hope that helps :)
