So last week I gave up smoking & in my effort for a new healthier life i started doing an hour cardio in the gym, which i did for four nights, went for my weigh in on saturday morning and stayed steady, I was so disappointed as I was 100% on plan and my chemist checked and I was still in Ketosis, anyone got any explaination for this,,pleasssseeeeeeeeeeeee

muscle weighs more than fat is all i can think of even though you ve stayed the same your inches are probably going down :) and stsying the same is better than putting it on lol

I may be wrong Trose, but i think you are not supposed to do too much cardio work, and little or no exercise at all for the first week (or maybe 2 weeks i may have read on here).. It is something to do with the nutrients in your daily meals being just enough for you to live on, with using too much more energy...
I am sure someone more knowledgeable will be along soon...

Well done on giving up smoking though.. I have done it, it's really hard x x

Don't be put off by it Trose, giving up nicotine plays havoc with your body, you most likely stayed the same because of that but you will reap the rewards next week and in the weeks to come...stay strong and stay in the gym :)

Thanks ladies, U know i when I got out of my weigh in, I wanted a ciggie and to eat lol, but I'm trying to stay positive and hoping it will show in my next weigh in.
