Suppliments....

Hiya..

Just wondering, do any of you take multi vitamins or any other types of suppliments?

Do they cause any sort of problems with weight loss etc?
 
I take berocca (or rather the aldi cheap version) does contain citric which can cause stalls.
 
I took a multi vit, omega 3 oil and another one something to do with wheat deficiency? I take the omega 3 now, that's all.
 
oh sorry forgot..i also take co q 10, l carnitine, col clear and cod liver oil :D
 
I've started to take multi vitamins and potassium suppliments....helps with restless leg syndrome/muscle cramps which I get loads of.

Reckon they'll be ok?

i take a b complex, because i have always taken it, not because of being on atkins.

i am on a NSAID, which causes a bit of water retention, so sometimes i take a herbal water tablet when it gets bad.
 
Every morning I take -

- a fizzy multi vit (which I've just discovered has citric acid in it and maize starch :eek: so will change it - any recommendations?)
- chromium
- korean ginseng
- potassium
- 2 psyllium husks
- coenzyme Q10
 
I take Sainsburys A-Z Multi vits & minerals, and also Sainsburys Omega 3+6+9
 
I take a daily multi-vitamin and mineral. Towards the end of my second week, I was getting really dizzy. I had a read around and apparently a lack of potassium and magnesium was the cause. Bought them after that and felt right as rain. Well aside from adapting to a different diet etc!
 
The Atkins book recommends a good multivitamin/mineral (for induction only? can't remember), so I take the Tesco A-Z. No problems so far.
 
I take a multi vit and oil of evening primrose because my skin is never great on Atkins but with that is great xx
 
cheap asda multivit is all i take
 
I take them all the time, so I'm not lacking the essentials

Thanks for all the advice people, I don't actually have an Atkins book, I'm just winging it I think!
 
I'm just on a multi-vitamin too, Holland & Barratt's radiance ones, they're pretty good. I've noticed my skin is a bit rubbish lately, so I might give evening primrose oil a whirl.
