Advent - 3syn treats help?

Hi all,
wondered if you could help me out with coming up with some treats that are 3syns or less?
I want to make my partner an advent calender thats not going to break the syn bank (or the wallet) some days I will put non food treats but wanted some low syn ideas to put in there too!

Thanks

oooooooohhh, thats a good idea, we have made out own advent callenders in the past. Will have a think and keep and eye on this thread. Am doing home made xmas this year.
'roses' type choccies are 2- 3 syns each.

I'm sure M&S do these sugar free sweets like butterscotch and strawberries & cream boiled sweets for 1/2 a syn each. They are quite nice and good for an advent calendar as you arent supposed to eat loads at once (laxative effects if you do!!) I've just checked syns online and an entire box is 6 syns. might actually get some myself now!!! :)

There are plenty for less than 4 syns:
Treat size crunchie
Treat size curly wurly
Treat size chomp
Milkyway mini stars - small bag
Green & Blacks minis

Realise that doesn't really help with your under 3 syn advent though!
Great idea BTW

I know in the free from section of Sainsburys they do boxed of Choices caramel chocolates. They're 2 syns per choccie and nice and rich, so you don't ever want to eat a lot of them

magic elves a little higher at 3 and a half but only 20p each and yummy:)

this is not a good thread, haha, giving me bad ideas, one treat is ok its having the will power to stop at one.

Toffee poppets are 1/2 a syn each.

Sainsburys no added sugar marshmallows are 4 for 1 syn

Black Jacks and Fruit salads are 1/2 a syn each.

Am planning to make my own Advent calendar, as hubby has a Cadbury's one.... It's not even open yet, and already I'm tempted !!

Both are lovely :) I prefer the strawberries and cream but I do like the werthers-style ones too. The only problem would be, you'd need to wrap them in cellophane or similar to stop them getting sticky.

being a craftaholic - I make all cards and advents and wot-nots etc for Christmas - there is a matchbox type advent which is quite easy to make and the drawers obviously hold something small as a treat - I did one last year and year before for my kids (who are both adults) and enclosed chocolates and money and jewellery etc....................however they are easily opened well in advance and the 'gift' removed as I found out when DD took all the money out to help her out up to Christmas each year.

I'll go see if I can find the instructions.

Thanks that is beautiful! I am a crafter too, and even though I never bother with advent I'm considering making one for myself lol

Also would SW-style jelly sweets be okay?

Ah - I remember when Advent calendars had totally syn-free little pictures behind each window. But then I am very very old!!!

i bought an advent calender for my daughter yesterday (shes 25 lol) was so tempted to rip it open and eat all the chocolates (thats what i usually do ) then was going to nip to the shop and buy her another one but was very proud of myself i ignored the urge

Hey well done Val - I would have done so in a flash ................. can't afford to have any chocolate in the house.
