In need of some advice..

Hi guys, I'm sure you've all experienced falling off the bandwagon at some point during your diet journey! I keep doing it when I've been having a really good day; planning my meals, exercising, etc. So I wondered if anyone had any advice as to what to do when you lose count of your syns..

What I mean is do you start again the day after?

Do you take it off your weekly allowance? Although I've find I can't go without my syns for the rest of the week, eeekk

Or do you just draw a line under it, and return to 10 syns the next day?

Etc etc, would love to know what your personal preference is when this happens to you..

Luckily it's not too frequent at the minute but I'm finding the last bit of weight really hard to shift now as I think I've hit my 'plateau' so having to stick 100% to the eating plan in order to shift the pounds.

All and any advice welcome :)

Hi there Gracie, I have only had 1 complete blow out since I started the diet. Went to prezzo with a friend and we had 3 starters between us, main meals, puds and wine! (yes I went for it we had free vouchers lol).

However next day just drew a line under it and back to plan, stuck to 10 syns. I still managed to lose 2lb that wk. I was very lucky! However think I would do the same again. If bad day (going out for birthday next wk and going out) will just start again the next day.
Don't think you can be too hard on yourself or you will be more likely to go off plan.

Oh my god me and my friend do exactly the same thing! We loooove Prezzos!! The 2 for a tenner voucher is such good value, we find ourselves there at least once a week!

Anyway, am trying to work in lots of exercise so the occasional blow outs don't matter as much, just trying not to beat myself up too much about it! :)
