Not getting married but can give advice

Hello lovely B2Bs!

I'm not getting married (sadly he says he will but hasn't asked yet!) but I do work in the wedding industry. I won't say in what capacity as I don't want to break any rules or make it sound like I am advertising, but if anyone has any questions or fears about their wedding, the planning or the actual day, then I would be happy to give any advice in keeping with the lovely chatty nature of this forum. Or I love to just chat generally about weddings so feel free!

I'll leave you with a tip for photographs:

Most photographers will will shoot your ceremony at some point from the back of the aisle, if you have a corseted dress despite your fantastic weight loss you are likely to still have a slight 'mushrooming' effect from the back (this even happens to slender brides,) so buy a simple bolero to match your dress. Just wear it for the church/civil ceremony and it will save you worrying where the photographer is shooting from during what should be the best moment of your life, and leave you looking back at the pics with nothing but great memories :)

Thank's MissO!!
What would you recommend for a summer evening wedding abroad?? Don't want to look sweatyy

Summer evening how lovely! Your absolute best friend will be make up blotting paper! Mac's are really good but most make up brands do them. They won't take your make up off, just soak up the sweat so you don't have a shiny face! Get a bridesmaid to keep them in their bag for you and they can give you a quick blot when you start to shine. If I was getting married somewhere warm I would definitely hire a make up artist so that they prime your face before the main make up and use matt products. Maybe ask your venue for recommendations?

As for your dress go for lighter fabrics like silk or layers of chiffon rather than big heavy satin to keep you cool.

Just remember though a slightly flushed, sweaty face on the dance floor just says your having a great time so don't worry about it too much! ;)
