This is not like me at all to share photos (I usually weed any photos of me out of the pack before allowing them to be viewed!) But for once I can honestly say I am really proud of myself.
The first picture was my very heaviest taken Christmas 2004. I lost my Dad July 2004 and comfort ate myself to 24 stone 10 lb. I was due to be married in October the following year and the day after New Year I started Atkins then swtiched to Rosemary Conolly and lost 6 stone for my wedding day. I gradually put weight back on (especially as my marriage wasn't a happy one - we spilt 10 months later). By the time I started lighter life I had put 2 stone 9 lb back on. (2nd picture) The 3rd picture taken yesterday (sporting new haircut) shows me at 17 stone 7lb (a difference of 101lb from the start picture = 7 stone 3 lb difference)
I still have a way to go - aiming for 13 stone as my first goal and then see what I look like (never been that slim) then decide if I want to lose any more.
I just wanted to share these photos with you - sorry they are only head shots - will work on finding an old photo (that I didn't rip up) from my heaviest and do a comparison now.
I hope these photos prove that no matter how far you have to come - it can be done with some patience and great support (like you find on minimins)
Good luck all
