Programme changing, leader changing...

So, I started going to meetings at the beginning of October, and have lost 9lbs in total so far, which I am thrilled about! I finally felt I was in the right mindset to lose weight sensibly for my health and my sanity (and vanity haha), and had finally found something which works for me.

From my first meeting they were warning us about the new plan, and I found out snippets of information (mostly from here...). I felt a bit apprehensive but thought, no, it's positive changes and I can deal with it, I am sure it must be possible to be successful...

And then, today, my leader announced she is emigrating :cry:this was only my fifth meeting so I haven't exactly grown attached to her, but I really liked her no-nonsense style, she was informative and encouraging without being patronising. Before I joined I did a lot of research online and found a lot of criticism for WW, with people saying the leaders don't promote healthy eating and only try to push WW products. That was my main concern but my leader turned out to be the complete opposite. I hope her replacement is the same. The current leader insists the new leader is really nice and very experienced, but we shall see.

So, many changes are afoot. I am a little bit worried that my weight loss efforts are now going to implode. I am a creature of habit! But I suppose I will have to get used to a new routine

Aww change can be hard but Im sure you'll be fine. Youve always got your minimates to moan to or come to for support! xxx

Hey Sucette, the person who lost that 9 pounds was YOU, not your leader, however good she is. It was your determination and effort, just keep that the same even if a leader or a system changes and the great start you have made will continue.
We are all wondering what the changes will be like, but as already posted, the Minimins are still here for each other and we will muddle through together. Keep going, you can do it!

Thanks for the encouragement, guys! Polly, you've lost ten times more than me, that's so impressive :) I admire the tenacity that must have taken
