Hi so I have decided to start a food diary to see if what im having is right, feel free to comment as any advice would be great. ;)

week 4 - day 7 (green day)

Breakfast - HEXa semi skimmed milk and HEXb weetabix

Lunch - egg mayonnaise and cress sandwich HEXb and 5 syns

Tea - aloo Gobi and rice - I put spring onion in a wok with fry light, then put in half a tin of chopped tomatoes a tin of new potatoes, some cauliflower then put in curry powder, lemon juice, ground turmeric, ground coriander, paprika, ground cumin and some chilli.

Snacks - 1 cookie 2.5 syns, crab pate 2 syns, jelly, some other biscuit 2.5 syns, banana and mullerlight.

Drinks - water, green tea and strawberry and raspberry tea yum!

Syns 12 syns


It was taster night at weigh in today so had a good mixture for snacks hehe!

The recipe is in the curry heaven book, but if you have not got that then I could post the recipe on here if you like. Um well it was sugar free jelly with a mullerlight yogurt in to it, I thought the sugar free jelly was syn free? :confused:
 
week 5 - day 1 - (extra easy)

Lunch - last night leftovers aloo gobi

Tea - pasta carbonara- this was lovely it was bacon, garlic, chilli, mushrooms, peas in a wok with frylight, then added the cooked pasta and the mixture of egg yolks and quark and put in some parsley and basil.

Snacks - banana, couple slices of ham.

Drinks - green tea, water, diet coke.

Syns - 0 (105 left)

I am saving my syns for saturday, I have a halloween party and will be drinking alot of alcohol!:beer8:
 
week 5 - day 2 - (extra easy)

Breakfast - HEXa semi skimmed milk and HEXb muesli

Lunch - Gammon, mashed potato, carrots and gravy (2 syns)

Tea - chicken korma and rice - mmm tasted like a real curry in a wok with fry light put in bay leaves, cinnamon stick, cardamom seeds, cloves, cumin seeds and onion first. Then put in after couple of minutes ground coriander, ground cumin, curry powder, ginger, garlic and tomatoes, then put in chicken, chicken stock. when cooked add fromage frais.
Three Onion bhajis (1 syn each) - gram flour, lemon juice, ground cumin, coriander seeds, green chilli, chopped coriander in mixing bowl, mix in sliced onion and bake. These were gorgeous to!

Desert - home made orange cheesecake (5 syns a slice) -
Ginger biscuits for the base and for the topping, Vanilla mullerlight yoghurt, quark, orange peel, orange juice, orange sf jelly and gelatine. I think that is it cant remember off the top of my head.

Snacks - Banana, couple slices of ham, 4 packs of haribo starmix (4 syns). Had a real sweet tooth and my boyfriend aint really helping sat next to me eating my favourite chocolate GALAXY!:drool:

Drinks - Green tea, diet coke, water.

Breakfast - HEXb 2 slices of toast and 2 fried eggs.

Lunch/Tea - KFC 2 chicken breast and 1 drumstick (18.5 syns) and chips (13 syns?)

Drinks - diet coke, green tea, water and 6 glasses of vodka (24 syns)

Syns - 55.5 (37.5 left)

I had a Halloween party yesterday, so I didn't have time to have anything proper to eat but KFC is a lot less syns then I expected, which was a bonus and it was sooo yummy. Next time if I have it I wont get the chips!

week 5 - day 3 (extra easy)

Breakfast/Lunch - HEXb 1 piece of toast, fried egg, beans, bacon, mushrooms.

Drinks - diet coke, 2 cups of tea HEXa semi skimmed milk.

Syns - treat size fudge (3 syns), treat size crunchie (4 syns), treat size caramel (4 syns). 11 syns (26.5 left)

I have a really bad hang over today, i knew i should not of drank vodka was trying to be good syn wise but im paying for it now with this horrible headache.

I have not had many trick or treaters tonight and all the mini chocolate bars are right in front of me I couldn't help myself, good job they are only small ones.:17729:

well yesterday I had such a long, stressful and strange day, but I did manage to stay on plan which I am chuffed with was hard but I did it! Yay me!:clap:

week 5 - day 4 (extra easy)

Breakfast - Jacket potato, baked beans, HEXa cheese and 2 slices of garlic bread (HEXb and 3 syns?)

Lunch - Chopped up melon and carrot sticks

Tea - Jacket potato, chilli: extra lean minced beef, onion, garlic, cinnamon, paprika and ground cumin, fried in fry light, add tomatoes celery carrots simmer for 15-20 minutes, then add the kidney beans. Two mini pakora's (5 syns). My boyfriend luckily made this for me otherwise I wouldn't of had anything else to eat was so busy was unreal!

Drinks - diet coke.

Syns - 8 syns (18.5 left)
 
well i weighed in tonight and lost 1.5 lbs which i am really chuffed with the last few days have been hectic been trying to stay on plan but slipped a little bit but still lost and really happy!:D
 
well today was fab I was straight back on plan!

week 6 - day 1 (extra easy)

Breakfast - Egg and bacon bap (HEXb)

Lunch - Curried parsnip soup - Fry onions, garlic, curry powder, ground cumin, turmeric, ground coriander and ground ginger in fry light, then add a little vegetable stock so it dont go dry. Add parsnips and rest of stock simmer for an hour then, blend it all together. (This was beautiful!)

Tea - Pork stirfry - stir fry the pork, boil egg noodles, then add stirfry vegetables to the pork and garlic, soy sauce and crushed oxo cube and fry then add noodles when ready and mix all together. (This was a nice spicy dish)

Drinks - strawberry and raspberry tea, water and diet coke.

Snacks - 2 bananas, 4 prawn crackers (3 syns), 1 slice of galaxy (2 syns?), shape delight (5.5)

Syns - 10.5 syns (94.5 left)

week 6 - day 2 (extra easy)

breakfast - egg and bacon bap (HEXb)

Lunch - Pork chops in gravy with mashed potato (2syns)

Tea - Lancashire hotpot - mum made this as she's on the plan as well was lovely was, potatoes lined on the bottom with lamb, peas, carrots, parsnips, onions and garlic, in stock with 1 tbsp of gravy, potatoes lined on the top and some boiled cabbage on the side. (2 syns)

Snacks - 1 banana, 1 of mums slimming world brownies (3.5 syns), shape delight yogurt (5.5 syns).

Drinks - green tea, strawberry and raspberry tea, water, diet coke and pink lemonade.

Syns - 13 used (81 left)
 
week 16 - day 1 (extra easy)

Breakfast - Chicken and ham

Lunch - jacket potato with cheese (HEXa), beans and 2 slices of garlic bread (HEXb)

Tea - Gammon steak, sw chips and 2 eggs

Snacks - mullerlight yoghurt, 5 thorntons chocolates (oopps damn my mum for opening the box) 17.5 syns

Drinks - diet coke, oxo cube drink

Syns - 17.5 (87.5 syns left)

After a hectic xmas i am now gonna get back on plan hard with all the xmas food around still but need to do this for myself so here goes after putting on 5 pounds ova xmas! :eek:
 
week 16- day 2 (extra easy)

Breakfast - 3x bananas with ff yoghurt and cinnamon sprinkled on top

Lunch - Lamb, mixed veg, new potatoes and gravy (1 syn)

Tea - Homemade cheeseburger (HEXa and HEXb)

Snacks - apple and mullerlight yoghurt

Drinks - Oxo cube drink, water

Syns - 1 (86.5 left)
 
week 16 - day 3 (red day)

Breakfast - beans, bacon, 2 eggs and 2 pieces of toast (HEXb)

Lunch - garlic mussels (1 syn), 2 pieces of bread (HEXb)

Tea - Parsnips (1 syn) and ff yoghurt with mint and garlic

Snacks - 3 dairymilk milk tray chocolates (7.5 syns), 3 crabsticks, some chicken pieces, sw chocolate pudding (5.5 syns)

Drinks - green tea, water and a glass of rose (4.5 syns)

Syns - 19.5 syns (67 left)

week 16 - day 4 (extra easy)

breakfast- didnt have anything didnt get out of bed till 1 oclock hehe

Lunch - egg and cress sandwich (HEXb and 5 syns)

Tea - Steak, sw chips with mushroom and peppercorn sauce, made the by frying mushrooms, then adding some crushed peppercorns and some beef stock and simmer till thickened.

Dessert - 2 bananas and custard with cinnamon sprinkled on top (2.5 syns)

Snacks - 4 crabsticks

Drinks - green tea with cranberry, water

Syns - 7.5 syns (59.5 left)
 
week 16 - day 5 (extra easy)

breakfast- egg and bacon bap and brown sauce (HEXb and 1 syn)

Lunch - grapes and melon

Tea - nasi goreng - this was lovely plenty of flavour, you brown 350g extra lean minced beef in a wok, then stir in 2 cloves of chopped garlic, 1 chopped red chilli, cook for couple of minutes, then add 2tsp curry powder, 1 tsp paprika, 4 chopped spring onions, 200g basmati rice, 600ml beef stock, 2 tbsp tomato puree, 2tbsp and 1/4 tsp of soy sauce, season and bring to the boil, then cook covered for 12 minutes, meanwhile beat an egg with 2 tsp soy sauce and fry to make an omelette, remove then roll up and cut into strips and put on top of the dish when ready.

Dessert - chilli chocolate pudding (5.5 syns) - mmmm yummy was worth every syn, melt 1 tsp of butter in a bowl in a microwave, then add 42g self raising flour, 4 tbsp sweetener, 14g cocoa powder, 1 egg, 4 tbsp ff yoghurt, 2 tsp vanilla extract and 1/4 tsp chilli powder. mix until there is no lumps then put into two ramekins and microwave for 2 minutes.

Snacks - some slices of ham

Drinks - water, diet coke, cappucino (4 syns and .5 HEXa)

Syns - 10.5 syns (49 left)
 
week 16 - day 6 (extra easy)

Breakfast - sw bar (HEXb) and a banana

Lunch - jacket potato, beans and cheese (HEXa)

Tea - Chicken doner kebab and pitta bread (10 syns)

Snacks - mullerlight

Drinks - green tea with citrus, juice, diet coke

Syns - 10 syns (49.5 left)

snacks - quavers (5 syns)

Drinks - 2x green tea, diet coke, herbal tea

Syns - 40 syns (9.5 left)

I had my weigh in today and lost a pound, and i always have a treat on wednesday after weigh in normally always chinese to, so im just bein as truthful as i can on my food diary, i still didnt even use all of my syns for the week.
 
week 17 - day 1 (extra easy)

Breakfast/Lunch - muesli and milk (HEXa and b)

Tea - spud u like jacket potato with chicken tikka (7 syns?)

Snacks - 4 crabsticks

Drinks - water, juice

Syns - 7 syns (98 left)

I did try to be good when i went into town went spudulike tried looking on the website to see what it is and i think i worked it out to be about that maybe.
