Feeling sad

My best friend was supposed to be coming up tomorrow with her daughter, and was gonna stay the night, i dont see her often as she split with her partner and moved 150 miles away, but her plans changed and she cant make it:cry::sigh:

I know that plans change in life and its no ones fault but im so gutted, im not sure when i will see her next, it might not be till xmas holiday now, just want to sit and cry about it:cry:

*big hugs* I know it's not the same but let's be glad for phones and the internet! I'm sure she would have loved to come and stay with you but like you say, plans change and it's no one's fault... This no one guy really bugs the hell out of me sometimes! I will share a quote with you that always makes me smile, and can be easily adapted to be SW appropriate...

Take whatever life gives you with a pinch of salt. Then throw the salt away and go get a big fat chocolate mousse.

Awww that sucks! As you say, plans change, but it doesn't stop it sucking

What I tend to do it have a nice bath/shower, paint my nails, and spend a little extra time on a tasty SW meal, and watch some TV!
Also, making plans to see her again will give you something to look forward to

to rearrange is so important so you have a new date to focus on.

2 weeks ago my sisters flight was cancelled by Lyin Air, whoops, sorry Ryan Air. I had a hasty Skype message from her. She was in tears and gutted and so was I. I love my sis so much. Later that same day I had another message from her she had another flight for four days later. The sunshine is my world came out again.

I so sympathise with you. The disappointment is intense. The sunshine will come out again in your world too.
