Hi everyone,

I have decided, after messing around with the Cambridge for nearly two years, that it is about time I got to grips with my food issues and dealt with my need to lose weight in a normal way.

I lost 32lbs from Feb 2008 - May 2008, which was not easy but it was quick and I felt great. I managed to get to 10lbs from my target of 10st and then panic set in. I guess I was scared about reaching my target and then finding that all my self-esteem issues were still there. I have come to the realisation that I hide behind my weight. I am not huuuuuuuuge but I am just heavy enough to 'not get noticed by the opposite sex' if that makes sense to anyone. Even though I would love to find a partner. Bottom line is........I'm scared :sigh:

Anyway, CD definitely doesnt teach you about food, portion control, emotional eating and the like and that is why I am starting SW EE. I can have a wide variety of foods, can socialise and WILL learn to control my portions and make sensible choices.

I need to lose about 26lbs to get to my target of 140lbs, so please wish me luck and any tips/advice/encouragement would be more than welcome.

I shall start posting my food diary/life story tomorrow :D:D:D

Thanks for reading.

Lou x
