First Week Weigh-in...

Well I lost 2 pounds and that is great, but I can't help but feel disappointed. For some reason I'd hoped for 3 or 4. The only thing I did wrong I think was to eat less than 4-5 syns per day...do u think I should have the full 15?

I am happy though as it is a loss at least! :)

I understand exactly where you are coming from as i have only lost 2lbs in my first week! :cry:
I have read on here that at the beginning you should take full advantage of the 15 syns so that your body doesnt think its being starved :eek:
I have also read that some people don't lose much until the 2nd or 3rd week as it can take the body a while to get used to the plan - so i am keeping my fingers crossed for both of us!!
I think my problem was not eating enough fruit/veg or superfree in general so i am making a big effort this week to get my 5-a-day! :)

Thanks for the reply. I did let it get to me for a few hours, but like you say maybe it will just take a couple of weeks. This week so far I have upped my superfree too and also am trying to have at least 8 syns a day...I started well today by having 1 tbsp of light mayo for 2 syns...yum! Also the frozen grape idea is great...I munched my way through loads last night to keep any sugar cravings away.

My weigh-in is on Friday, when is yours? We can compare and see how we both got on :)
 
oooh how i love mayo! I've tried to stay away from it for a few weeks as i cant stand the light version, but i had an idea which was do a half and half mix (light & full-fat) and then syn that on special occasions because i think it should taste almost the same! :rolleyes:

Congrats on up-ing your syns :D im really shocked that i almost have to find something 'extra' to eat, to top my syns up! Although yesterday i went and got a pack of mini-milks for the freezer, seeming they are only 1.5 each! that means on a good day i can eat 3..or..4 lol ok, maybe not but they are definitely a lot tastier than 1.5 syns seems :)

I weigh in on a Monday so not much after you! Let me know how you get on, hopefully it will all fall off us this week ;)

Hey!!! I managed to get 3 off...yippee! I am more pleased with that....for some reason if it's over 2 psychologically you feel better, even though 2 is great! But you know what I mean :)

And listen I have a great feeling about yours tonight, the first week you are just getting into it, so I bet you have done great....let me know how you get on xxxxx
 
Congrats!! Ah so glad for you! I know exactly what you mean, 2 feels like nothing and 3 feels like loads!! :)

Just been to weigh-in and i lost 2 1/2 pounds :) So happy seeming i went to halloween party on saturday and couldn't be certain of my vodka measures!

Yeah!!!!!!!!! You lost and had a party with vodka!!!!! Well done you, that is fantastic! Just imagine picking up 4/5 pounds of fat and feeling the weight of it....that weight is now banished to the fat room never to come back again!! :D

Hey! :) I am on a four day break, folks over and it's a celebration so I have allowed myself to enjoy it. No counting, no worrying, just having a lovely time. Back on plan tmrw, I will just have to hope Fridays weigh-in isn't so bad ;)

Very sweet of you to see how I'm doing, very supportive and appreciate it loads. Looking at ur weeks, you have done fab!! Just goes to show sw works and is a plan for life xxxx
