Counting calories?

I was wondering if people are counting calories as well as watching the fat? I am finding if I am strict with my calories I don't get anywhere close to the 45g of fat and worried this might affect the effectiveness of the tablets. What does everyone think? Is it better to have less fat with lower calories or up the calories to get closer to the 45g?

I think when you're starting out on the tabs, its best to stick with counting fat grammes, if you start counting calories too, then you're going to end up over complicating it for yourself.
For me, that worked the best, now I'm on the last (hopefully lol) part of my weight loss journey, I count calories only, but that is also because apart from a few food items that are slightly over the 5% rule, the majority of what I eat is well within the 5% rule.

i agree,at the start its best to stick with the fat content, you do end up confusing yourself and complicating things...

once youve settled into the diet and you need to change things to accomodate the weight loss then thats the time to look at other things.. :)

I agree with the other. Just do the fat until your settles in the new way of eating. Then do the cals too. My weight lose tapered off but that was because i wasnt eating enough. So i watch cals too now. But only being doing cals for about 5 weeks. Was happy to just do the fat part for about 8 weeks.

Well I have been calorie counting a year already and only taken the tablets for 3 days so I am sticking to calorie counting cause I am used to it & enjoy it.....now I have to watch the fat too!
