Hey everyone,

Just thought I'd introduce myself. Been meaning to join a forum for a while but not much of an internet user.

Been trying to slim down for my sister's wedding since April and so far, so good. Opted for a low calorie, high protein diet.

Any advice on how i can shift these last remaining lbs before January would be greatly appreciated.

Hello and welcome. You sound like you are doing a pretty good job on the plan so i would just say hang on in there and it will come off in time.

Hello and welcome to the forum :) if you have a bit of trouble with getting around then just in the hending of this section you will see some intro threads in the sticky section, they are like a mini guide to getting around and will help you.

It will show you how to set up a ticker,which are a good thing as you can 'see' your weight loss going down :)

exercise and water are key to a healthy diet,you seem to be doing well.

Hey there MiniMeMary and :welcome2: to the forums, it sounds like you've been doing marvellously on your diet and that you've achieved a good loss. How many more pounds do you want to lose? I always think that if something is working then you shouldn't change it - but please let us know a little more about your diet etc and I'm sure some of us will be able to offer some advice.

I have got over 15lbs left to lose. Diet wise I love my chicken, turkey and fish and try to have some everyday. I try to avoid carbs as i tend to put on weight when i eat pasta too often.

I am wondering if i should have more red meat in my diet though - what do you think?
