periods? menstual cycle

has anyone else had problems with their periods? i have been on TFR sine end of june and have a couple of periods which were unusual? - i kept starting and then stopping over several days until i finally came on my period? i know some of this could be my age- im 49 but it has just happened again and im in agony with period pains.
Im also constipated today so have taken senakot to try and help!

Hi, yes I have had this problem. I contacted the Lipotrim helpline and they explained that you can get irregular bleeding because oestrogen is stored in fat so as you lose the fat it releases oestrogen into your body which can cause bleeding! Phew, think I got that right, they explained it so much better!!! Hope that helps! As for constipation, drinking loads of water does help , I "go" much less on Lipotrim but then I am not eating so there is less to pass through me if you see what I mean?

I have spotting on and off for up to a week, then I come on properly.
I checked up and was told it was normal too
