Day 1, drank loadsa water,, but have headache..???

Oh absolutely!! This is carb withdrawal and will pass in a few days, just take some cheap chalky paracetamol and get an early night.

You'll be feeling great by the weekend.

HI there! I am on Day 8..had head aches too but remembered I hadnt my usual 3 cups of black coffee....so i did(black, no sugar of course) and have felt totally fine all week....(of course the tabs will work too!!)
 
Appartently not!!! But I would say enjoy it while you feel that way....
 
No usually the other way to be honest, most people when in full ketosis complain of being cold all the time. Saying that it is very muggy anyway at the minute and i am sitting here feeling like I am on fire so maybe just the weather!

I am lookign forwards to ketosis, when i did atkins i found it very good, not hungry or cold, just had loadsa engergy! and required very little sleep!

cold didn't go half the way of describing it. SSing inFeb seems a distant memory now but the deep down relentless bone numbig cold was something I won't forget in a hurry. I wore 2 prs of trousers,4 or 5 layers on top plus wrist warmers etc. socks & jumper in bed.

I'd say just enjoy the warmth while you can.

this caught my eye.I've never woken before the alarmclock in my life! ...er til now that is. I don't even want to roll over & go back to sleep again. Will this end when I come out of ketosis? Is there anything I can do to stay as I feel now?

what about heartburn? why doi have this? musta been chicken soup??
I'd put it down to bad luck & having no food in the tum to mop up the gastric secretions. lots of water,don't bend over with a tum full of shake & ask a pro what heartburn remedies are allowed if it doesn't settle by itself.
I'd guess that 'rennies', 'tums' etc are choc full of sugar.
 
Jane...just been reading your weight loss sucess....wow really motivating...I am on Day 8 of LT...down 10llbs to 15st11 but know it slows a bit from now on..you have done so well loose 62lbs in 16 weeks....I have a big work do on 26th September....I would love to arrive there (most of my work colleagues wont have seen me over the summer as they work all over the country) having dropped 4 stone....motivation back big time.....thank you!!!

well then .set it as a target. It's not unrealistic to aim to lose 4 stone in 4 months,well 3 1/2 months. But then you've lost most of astone already. I can't remember how long or how many posts you need before you can doo silly stuff with your signature, but you could make a ticker with the Big Do at the end.
If you carry on as you have started you'll be there by the end of sept'
a personal Q. Is the 4stne your final goal or just a midway target to aim at?
