Wants to be a yummy mummy
Hi Everyone!

I joined this forum a couple of days ago, in the Lighter Life section, because that is what I was doing....I only managed 3 days and have decided to quit..I just CANNOT stick to it...and I take my hat off to anyone that can....I just love food too much...

I have been on SW before and kept leaving then re-joining my group.....I just do not have the guts to go and re-join again, because I think that they are going to think that I am a bit mad keep coming anc going and think that the group leader will hate me for it!!

So, my question is this? Are there any of you on here that are just doing the diet at home? Me and my OH weighed in in the lounge this morning and are planning on doing so every week...do you think that I will be able to stick to it without going to group?

I think that SW is one of the best diets out there, and I think that it is much better to be able to EAT! as opposed to starve....I know that lots of medics etc say that LL is fine, but something about it does not seem right to me! Maybe that is just my opinion...but it is so hard to stick to, and is a complete change in lifestyle and one that makes you feel very desperate and sad a lot of the time....can't be too good in my book. I think that it messes with your head a bit....

Anyway, have waffled on far too much....I hope no one minds me joining this forum instead...I hope to get lots of hints and tips from you all, and to chat lots in the future....

Thanks!

xx

u have to do what feels right. SSing is very hard and if u dont like it, its best that u swap. im on herbalife but wanted to wish u luck! u can join WW or SW online and do it from home.

good luck xxx

Hi TL
sorry it did not work out for you - abstaining from food was my miracle cure but it is not for everyone!
I think that group support is very important when losing weight - your SW leader would be delighted to welcome you back - she wants the business!!!
Almost Everyone with a weight problem has blips and return to bad habits, regain some weight or even all and more!
If you believe in SW as the way forward then find the courage to rejoin your group - it could be the best thing that you do!
Best of luck and keep posting

Hi TL

I was a target member just over two years ago, put a stone and 4 pounds on and I've gone back - I have to admit to dreading the thought of seeing people there that I knew or remembered me. Only one lady recognised me and she was impressed with me for only putting on what she thought was a small amount of weight in the time! The consultant, Kate, is fantastic - she knew I was worried about doing the diet again (as you can cut corners when you know and have done the diet before) but lots of things have changed. A load of food that used to be free now has syn values and so this keeps me on my toes and I'm forever checking my little book! The support I get from the class is fab - we all try and help each other. At the end of the day, you have to do what you feel comfortable with hon. Whatever you decide to do, we'll all help you!

welcome on board :)

ive done both sw at home and at a class and i just couldnt stick to it on my own - too much opportunity to cheat lol. but if you think you can do it hun then go for it!!

good for you hun! Ive tried doing it online and not attended class and could stick with it but we are all different good luck hope you do well
