Hi everyone.
What sort of weight loss do you think someone should expect after two weeks please? I know everyone is different, so I am just after opinions.
Thanks.
xx

well i lost 2lbs a week every week from week one. so for me i' lost 4lbs by week 2 WI.
But as you say everyone is TOTALLY different.

Well, despite sticking to plan 100%, I GAINED 1lb in week one and am probably 98% sure that I will be lucky if I show a 1lb loss tonight. I just put on the jeans I wear each week for WI (I thought I would wear the same thing each week to give a more accurate reading) and if anything they feel snugger than last week.
If I thought the water loss from crying would help with the scales, I think I would have full blown hysteria........ :(

First things first. stop panicking. stress can cause problems with weight fluctuation. You appear not to have an awful lot of weight to lose. Were you dieting before SW last week? IF like me you already grill all meat, cut fat off meat, have skimmed milk - don't take sugar in tea/coffee and drink little or no alcohol THEN it will be even harder for you to lose weight.

You really need to talk to your C at class tonight, show your food diary and ask her to really look at it and see what is going on. BUT above all stop stressing and panicking...................relax a bit.

Are you due for a * week? do you have bowel problems - constipation etc - do you suffer from excess bloating? Are you drinking water and drinking loads just before weigh in etc.

Have you tried a red week? A green week, a plan that is different from the week before?

All these things need to be taken into consideration.

Once you start to lose, you will be losing, no problem.

GOOD LUCK FOR TONIGHT.

Hi. Thanks for such a detailed reply time2bslim. I ended up with a better result than I imagined - 2.5lb - but I cant say i was over the moon as a couple months ago, on SW, I lost 3.5lb in my first week, so I guess I am feeling a bit deflated, emotionally, not physically! :)
But, 2.5lb is better than a gain and if I were few more weeks in I would probably be well pleased with that, so i shall consider my glass half full and stop moaning!
Hopefully now its kick strted the loss.
I really couldnt understand it as not TOTM, no constipation or anything and in all honestly, I'd been caning booze and rubbish but since I joined 2 weeks ago, I havent had a sip of alcohol and of course have cut out the rubbish, so to have gained 1/2lb was heartbreaking.
But, I've stuck with it and shall continue to do so!
Thanks again.

well done on your loss :)

have you seen what 2lbs of fat looks like in your SW class ? if not ask your consultant and when you do see it you will be more than happy with the loss

well done to you keep at it :) x

Hi ladies, thanks for the replies.
I may try different days as well, although tbh, I dont really understand them so will have to sit down with my book and swot up a bit. I'd love to try the super speed but cant seem to find any info in my books so shall ask at my next meeting.
xx

Thanks JayLou, I saw the symbols in the book but wasn't sure how to use them if that makes any sense? Do I still do my 1/3rd and 2/3rds but use the SS items instead please?
My organic box will be arriving in a bit so I shall look forward to seeing what I am eating this week! :)
xx

You can use them however you like, just try to replace non S/SS foods with them.
For example, instead of snacking on a banana, have an apple or orange
Instead of beef, have chicken or white fish
That sort of thing :)

Thanks Jaylou - In plain English, it certainly sounds do-able! :)
I shall give it a go - Mind you, not for my lunch. Treating myself with SW chips, 2 low fat sausages and some mushy peas! Tum is rumbling!

Are they really? Wow. I haven't had a chance to swot yet - 4 kilos of white bread flour (the bread I make for my boys that I can't eat! Grrrrrr....) exploded all over my new black car so I have been a tad busy! Will get to the swotting ASAP.
In other news, my organic box arrived this afternoon (I don't have it over the summer so am always excited when I restart it) and its an absolutely bumper box. Looking forward to this weeks meals very much! YUM!
xx
