Hi everyone,

I'm planning on joining SW this coming Tuesday. This is the second time I have joined SW and I'm actually looking forward to it this time!

I've joined this site as I know that I sometime struggle with keeping motivated so I'm hoping that I'll get loads of advice and support here!

Like I said, I'm looking forward to joining SW again but I'm really worried about getting weighed. I don't know how much I weigh I just go on how my clothes fit / feel so to face up to my weight is really giving me something to worry about.

Once I've been weighed I know I'll feel ok that I'm facing it head on and doing something to lose weight but I am worried to see how much weight I've put on! :sigh:

Hey. Be kind to yourself!! Don't worry about what you weigh chick, the point is you are doing something about it and that has to be a good thing. Welcome and good luck for the weigh in, you will be great.

Dont worry about your first weigh in.... it might not even be as bad as you think hun :) just hold you head high, go get weighed and think of it as the first day of the rest of your life!! :) your NEW life, and stick to the quote you had off me ;)

I've been trying the SW plan for the last few days before I join on tuesday so it shouldn't be too hard.

Hi there cmr, :welcome2: to the forums hun. Please don't worry about your weigh in, I know how stressful it can be worrying about it but please don't get too skewed up - at least once you have a weight you can work towards better goals.

Hi everyone,
Went to my first SW meeting tonight and it was fine. I knew I had put weight on and was expecting more than what I had put on.

Now that I know my weight I feel quite relieved that I can start to do something about.

I would like to get down to 9 stone by April but I think I'm going to set myself small short term goals too.

welcome to the forum. think molehills not mountains in terms of goals..i find it helps to break things down into smaller chucks that seem more realsitic,then youre sure to blitz them.

Thanks. I've set myself mini goals which will help me keep motivated and stick to the plan.

I'm also writing down all the positive things I'm doing, such as walking more or going on the Wii so I'm hoping that will help too.
