Hi All, I just joine the programme today and got a variety of all flavours as everyone was saying hwo awful the taste was or that i should add Ice or keep chilled etc....

I bought my £5 plastic shaker, filled it with 450ml of water and added the vanilla power. Cold Water straight from the tap and after mixing it for about 30seconds.... hey presto a dam good tasting shake... I loved every bit of it.

2 days prior have been haiving black tea with no sugar and guess what, after letting it cool down a bit, I found the tea to be actually very tasteful and unsure if it was me and my mind or the black tea effect, that I did not feel the need to dash for snacks and food, I was quite content with a light evening meal.

So lets see how I do this evening and the next stage is to see how I do the next morning with any headaches or bowel issues which rumour has it is one to watch.... lets see...

Vanilla all the way !!! I have chicken n Strawberry also.

:p

Hey Gopi, Welcome! It's great you enjoyed your first shake, what a good start. I started last week so only a bit in front of you. I haven't had any headaches at all (I've been drinking a LLLOOOOOTTT of water) but yes the toilet thing has been true for me. But not to worry, a few Senakot and I'm right as rain. I just wanted to say that if you're having the Chicken soup blend it with 400mls of boiling water before drinking..well that's how I like it anyway, it's thin but tasty...I'd hate for you to have it and not like it because it really is very helpful to be able to have something that tastes like real food. I can never understand how it makes sense to have the shakes on diets like this taste like food we are trying to stop eating, maybe the point is to make us so so so sick of chocolate shakes that we never want to touch choc again???!!

Best of luck anyway, xxx

Thanks Ella, i'll defo do the chicken with boiling water..... I may have to cool it a bit as the shaker I got from the pharmacy today states not to put boiling water in it. Any tips on how to make this then with the shaker.

Senokat... lets hope it stays in the medicine cupboard ! :kissass:

Here we go............

Welcome, Gopi! I find the shakes are better if blended with a hand blender. Shaker good if you're away from home. As regards the soup, I find it best if I heat it up in a saucepan rather than in the shaker and blend with blender too. Hope this helps. Best of luck to you!
