AAAGHHHH!!! What do you do when?

You stick to the plan. 100%. 18 points a day! (2 points under for the week this week.) Wekk after week. And lose absolutely zilch! Nada!! I am so so so fed up I just can't tell you. I can't afford to go sole source, and don't want to drag two impressionable daughters to a ww meeting! What can ww leader do anyway, probably just not believe I'm sticking to it. But i am, I really am. I've written down every last morsel that goes past my lips! Should I drop points do you think? I am just stumped now. I've stuck with this, absolutely, since the kids went back!
 
I really do think some people have a much lower BMR than some calculation rules are willing to admit. Have you tried as an experiment lowering your points allowance one week?
 
Meh. I know EXACTLY how you feel. But don't give up! Are you drinking enough water? Try and increase your activity levels and change the type of exercise you do. Sometimes our bodies won't do what we want, it sucks, but stick at it and the scales will shift eventually. Sorry I can't be more help, but I really do know how you're feeling. You'll get there chick!! xx
 
(((hugs))) im like you've i've been really good this week (weigh day tomorrow) but i popped on the scales this morn and nothing? not a sausage :( i went over my points once but other days i've only had say 10 points? i think if i don't lose this week and next maybe WW isn't for me? :'(
 
I only lost 1.5 lbs in august over 5 weeks and I have loads to go, our bodies plauteu maybe relaxing the plan for a week may help? I had 4 days off counting points end of august and started to lose again abhiet slowly but 1.5lbs weekly, I didn't go mad over points just didn't count.
I seriously feel changing it round now and again fools our bodys as if we do the dame thing over it will know what we are doing . I know exercise is hard for you , have you the wii? I also know if I ear 2 points under a day I lose I didn't do this on purpose I just had things going on Ndost my appitite so ate less. I think it's worth doing everything people suggested here, each week try 1)wendi plan.2) Eat slightly under drop 1 point a day, 3)eat slightly over 1 point a day, do this for the next few weeks see if it changes what's happening. Also weigh snd easier every single thing that goes into your mouth write every single thing down, I admit I don't weigh and measure like I should so need to lol

Your doing really well sticking at it I know how hE'd it is when you do and don't get the rewards, a positive is your still smaller and I think your body needs fooling.

Thanks folks. I am getting really really fed up. I am not doing as much exercise as I would like. Still manage some, but it's just me and the kids, I work when they are at school, race round their activities after school, and can't leave them at night. But I do weigh and measure absolutely everything, on ww scales that tell you the points. I do stick to 18 points a day. Sometimes I go over, and pull back, or save and spend, but not usually saving more than 2 points a day. I ahve lost nothing, the same lb and a bit, since 5th Septmber. I can't go on like this! If I had money I would just exante or CD, but can't and know this would probably mess up metabolism more!

Thanks for your replies. I can't give up, can't put on more, have few clothes that fit now! HAve thought about Wendie. MAy give it a go. Eating all those on super high day is scarey, but need to mix it up somehow. Just needed to vent, I know you can't ahve all the answers, but I want to cry, and go out for fattening pub lunch. I drink about 1.5 to 2 litres of water, and extra tea. I used to drink loads of green tea, but can't seem to face it now. Think I'll try to get into this again! Mind you, I put on 2 stone drinking gallons of that stuff.

i think mixing it up helps,,some weeks i've saved points and lost nothing and other weeks ate them all and lost,,i have to admit i dont do any exercise,,sooooooooo lazy and i don drink water but lots of black tea,,all our bodies are different so it's just a matter of finding what works for you
 
Maybe have the pub lunch it can kick start it? It's one meal and you may find it helps. 18 points is low , I'll be like you I'm only on 20 now and have 4 stone to go.
I'm doing the wendi as my losses arent great it's worth a try xx

Riotgirl is right, up the activity leavel, even if it is just 10 minutes brisk walk per day, that can really make a difference. Don't lower your points, 18 is quite a low pointage allowance in my opinion anyway... Have you tried the wendi plan? You will still be getting all of your points per week, but completely mixing them up to give your body a bit of a shock and a kick in the right direction.

For 18 points per day, this is what you would get on the plan...

Monday - 21
Tuesday - 18
Wednesday - 23
Thursday - 19
Friday - 32 (Super High Day)
Saturday - 18
Sunday - 23

I have heard of loads of people doing this after having a few STS's and they all rave about saying it gave them great results and then able to carry on as normal after 2 weeks.

Think super high is +10, so 28. And Sunday is 22.

But if your on low points you can't do it as 13 poin ts a day would be very low on 2 days for you.
I may try it this week as I'm still on 20 for a while but it's one of those things some people hate it someone it I've never tried x

Some days i don't even have 11 points thou? cos i just can't fit them in :confused:

I have my weigh in early on saturday and i'm thinking of trying the wendie plan myself from saturday, does this sound right
Sat +1
Sun -2
Mon +10 (SHD)
Tues -4 (SLD)
Wed Normal points
Thurs -1
Fri -4
Also I should be on 23points a day but am not losing weight (we think it is due to medication) so do you think I should do the wendie plan using 18points? As when I do fast start I usually do lose a bit even if its not much.

Cherrysummer, have you read the thread about eating all your points? If you're only eating 10 points a day, you're not going to lose. And you're not really doing the WW plan, as they say not to go below 16, and not to save more than 4 points a day.
Try replacing WW options with higher fat options, or eating foods that are filling and high in points but have good fat, such as avocacdo? To be honest, at the moment you are not following the plan, and that's probably why it's not working for you.
I get what you mean about not wanting to eat for the sake of it, but at the same time, the WW plan is scientifically designed, and they don't say things such as don't go below 16 points just for the sake of it :)
