Had a lovely day out yesterday.......

Went to see my sister at university as it was her birthday. She went last week to lancaster, shes studying english and history and we had a really lovely day!

She showed us round the uni which is AMAZING (I really wish I had took the chance to go to uni, although I certanily dont regret my children if that makes sense!) and we went and had lunch at a lovely pub down the round. My older sister and mum and dad travelled up from wales as well so it was lovely.

She was tearful when we left which set us off, but shes never really been away from home so its a big step isnt it? We are lucky that we are only 2 hours away so we will go down again in a few weeks to see her again!

Anyway, just wanted to share my lovely day

Lancaster is a lovely city.

Me & OH went to Lancaster on Saturday, it's only 15 mins on the train from where I live. As you will know the music festival was on so we spent the day wondering from pub to pub listening to live music & finished it off eating chinese on the railway station BTW I only had 2.5 pints of cider & drunk diet coke the rest of the time.

Lancaster is beautiful I love the buildings & the brick they use, there is a lot of history in Lancaster.
