Upset Stomach??

For the last 2-3 weeks my bf and I have really reduced our food intake to a sensible level of 3 balanced meals a day and we've also reduced our evening meal portion size, cooked using much less oil and steaming a lot.

Tonight my brother is visiting for the weekend so my bf cooked a roast dinner - chicken with butter under the skin, roast potato, steamed veg, stuffing and gravy. I must admit I did have a big plate full - immediately after dinner I had really bad stomach cramps, like stabbing contacting pain and I have also had diorrhoea (sp). Is this because I ate too much after reducing portions and because there was a lot of oil/butter in the food?

this happens to me all the time as I have a wheat intolerance so the minute i eat something I shouldnt im on the way to the loo... sounds to me like your body couldnt handle the oil and fatty stuff like the butter since you havnt had in it in a while. The other option is that the chicken wasnt cooked properly but then that wouldnt have an immediate effect on you lol x

Lol, oh yes I've been there before with prawns, it's certainly an immediate effect :)

Yeah I thought about something being undercooked but my bf and brother ate exactly the same as me. Will keep it light tomorrow I think, soups and salads maybe? I'm meant to be taking my brother for lunch and don't want to be a spoil sport by not feeling right. Hopefully after a good nights sleep it will get sorted and my body can chill again.

I've had exactly the same, if I ever eat too much now-a-days I get really really sharp tummy pains, to the point that I'm bent over crouching on the floor I'm in that much pain lol and yep, needed to rush straight to the loo

If it happens again just try and sit still and relax your body a bit, sit it out for a while :) hope you're okay!!
