HOW MUCH EXERCISE?

spyro2008

I will never give up
Hi i was just wandering how much exercise everyone is doing as to be honest apart from housework, picking the kids up and shopping im not doing any. I used to be in a routine of doing in when my oldest 2 were in bed at 8 but since my little one well huge 11 month old has been here my routine has gone out the window and bythe time hes asleep and ive tidied up i just wanna relax for an hour before bed. Is anyone else as lazy as me?

I don't like excerise I do it because I need to lol! I normally power walk most evening, but have now dusted off the treadmill and have started running again (Last time I stepped on it was Jan:eek:) feeling very good too!

I joined the gym, but its really difficult to go and then im too embarrassed because i think everyone will be looking at me and wondering such a lard arse is in there!!!

I do walk my dog at least 2 times a day and try and walk fast rather than a stroll .... but my job is at a desk all bloody day and ive really noticed the difference in sitting all day from being on the go xx

I am totally lazy on the excercise front at the moment I'm afraid. My excuse, however is that I have read in a few places that on a vlcd you are not supposed to do too much in the way of excersise as because calories are so restricted if you burn too many by way of excersise you can end up pushing yourself into starvation mode and thus risk slowing down your weight loss......obviously I jumped at the excuse!!

Gentler excercise like pilates and a bit of resistance training are supposed to be better than heavy cardio though.

Anyone who has heard otherwise feel free to correct me......

No, I have a severe allergy to exercise (could be why I weigh so much). I know you are supposed to be able to do moderate exercise, but I think why take the risk? ;)

My OH and I walk most evenings (between 2 and 3 miles). For us it's an hour on are own to just to reconnect. We then have our shake to look forward to LOL.
