Xmas Buffet Night

Hello everyone

Has anyone else been having the xmas buffet nights at their groups at the start of the xmas countdown?

Just wondered what all of you took as your food? I have mine tonight and I am stuck!

It has to be something quite easy as I have to create something very quickly between work and group!

I was thinking of pieces of quorn sausage and apple on a stick? My boyfriend laughed at me when I said this to him this morning, haha so now I am thinking perhaps this is a little lame? I thought it sounded quite nice, I love apple sausages!

Sounds nice, maybe a dip to go with it? Just cause I find the quorn a bit bland unless I liven it up. Oh and make sure you put some lemon juice on the apple bits to slow the browning.

I've had all day so whipped up syn free BBQ sauce last night and am currently doing Roasted Veggies and some mini burgers.
All syn free with over a 1/3 superfree and very tasty.

I have had 2 weeks really but as usual have left it to the last minute and now I am panicking!

I had no time as I came straight from work, a quick trip to Tesco sorted me out with low fat hummous with red peppers and mini breadsticks.

There was lots there for our, sausages and tandoori chicken and biscuits, cakes and jellies.

The BBQ sauce is on this site, search Syn Free BBQ Sauce and it comes up. I've copied the recipe and will hopefully be having it very soon

The burgers went but nobody touched the sauce or veggies. Hmmm no surprise, room full of dieters and cake on the table

Well that's my tea sorted, yep bbq sauce recipee somewhere on this site, I just googled sw bbq sauce and it came up.
