Hi Guys
I work in an office and am bored with tuna salads & ham sandwiches and muller light... anybody any handy ideas for lunches?? start early so be really hungry and this ain't really filling me up :(
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated :)

Try making something the night before, or how about cooking savoury rice, and having it cold with fruit and yoghurts etc.

do you have a microwave etc avaliable?!

batchellors super noodles ( the free ones)
jacket potato and beans and cheese (nom)
pasta and pesto and quorn sausage chopped up
houmous and chopped raw veggies like carrots and cauliflower
make a fruit salad the eve before
ryvitas and laughing cow triangles
ommlette - not handy if lunching at work though
Veggies curry and rice (from night before) great on cold days
Flask of home made soup.

i love, love, love to cook a jacket potato and cut in half then scoop out the middle of both into a bowl, then mash with salt and black pepper and laughing cow cheese or grate cheese then stuff back into the jackets.
Great hot or cold with a salad .... nom nom nom......

These are my ideas.
Claire.

Thanks girls, will def give these a go, really good ideas esp at this time of year! We do have a microwave, but will be eating at my desk so need to think of those round me..
Clare the jacket potato idea sounds fab, can't wait to try that, yum!!!
Cheers :D

Mugshots.
Pot noodle in a mug.
Warm chicken and bacon salad, yum. Just put the chicken and bacon in a separate container and nuke it before adding it to the rest of the salad.
Any left over meal from night before nuked, pasta bolognaise etc...
Sainsburys do a 2 min fried rice only 2 Syns.
