Hi everyone,
Haven't been around much - been kind of a crap week.
My DH has been away, and it has been very lonesome. I think I mentioned he want back to California to move all of moms belongings out of her house, as it looks like the bank is going to foreclose on it - we have had no luck selling it, and time is running out.
Its a huge relief to have all moms precious belongings in storage, safe from the banks greedy hands - but its a very sad feeling to think of the house empty, after 60 years.
But it is a relief. Kind of a double edge sword.
I have had kind of a cold all week, not full on, but just enough to be annoying and to feel run down. And have not been sleeping well - bad dreams every night. I am sure because of everything that has been on my mind.
I've been embroiled in my brothers messed up life, trying to help him get somewhere, and that has been emotionally draining. He is not very well, mentally, and I am seriously worried about what is to become of him now that mom is gone.
My car broke down on Tuesday, and my boiler broke too so a real struggle to get any hot water, and no heat whatsoever.
So, poo pah. Have a busy weekend ahead trying to get caught up on laundry, housework, etc., before hubby comes home Monday morning (yay!!!!) But little to no energy. Wish me luck.
COngrats to all of you who are doing so well and overcoming challenges. Seen some good news on here - and for those struggling - keep up the good fight. It is all worth it in the end.
Time to put my feet up, a cuppa, and TV with the cats.
