add a meal week

spyro2008

I will never give up
i cant find my little booklet that tells you what you can have in the add a meal week i think the kids tore it up so was just wandering what everyone has been having on there aam week and what we are allowed as i like to be organised and want to start planning now as its in a week and a halfs time. so any suggestions would be great

thanks lynn

I find the recipes they show online are a little random and could do with being tagged as which solution they are appropriate for.

You can view both booklets online Resources | Exante as long as you have adobe reader installed which is available here Adobe - Adobe Reader download - All versions

If you cba with that, this is the page you're looking for ^.^

Ok thanks sorry for being dumb but are you allowed one choice from each section?

hehe yeh, other than the fruit and veg which says "have at least 4 portions" =)

i presume you'll probably need to calorie count it too cos it's got to be within 400kcal

thats quite alot i thought it was just 1 meal hence add a meal week lol

Ahh its 1 portion of fruit and 4 of veg + salads as there less calories

Ooh im all excited now lol whens your add a meal week?

Not for another 2 weeks yet. I've been trying to think of some recipe's for it cos I don't want to be having just some chicken salad, so I was thinking of making some sort of sauce using the fromage frais, maybe even curries, It'll be weird without the naan and rice though ^.^

Have you got anything in mind yet?

I know maybe make just a chicken breast then do a veg curry sauce thing then just dip the chicken in it or do a cauliflower rice like in the working solutions recipe ideas.

Im going to my families the week im on add a meal ive still got just over a week left but they all have chinese and was thinking about what i could have. They do a chicken in garlic dish im not sure if that would be ok as i asked them how they make it and its just loads of garlic, chicken , chilli paste and water. I could get some veg to go with it what do you think?
