to get my head round EE. I have had fruit for breakfast and im going to do the EE cottage pie for dinner tonight. So could i still have a jacket spud with tuna, or a sandwich for my lunch. If not what type of things would be ok to have for lunches?

Yep jacket potato and tuna would be fine. I love extra easy, I never stop eating haha :) The cottage pie is really nice btw :)

Thanks, I haven't done the EE before, but it looks quite appealing, normally stick to red/green days. I had the fruit because I went swimming this morning and don't like to eat before I go, but I didn't get back till around 11ish, so fruit seemed a good choice as I knew my lunch would be around 1.30. I chose a sandwich made with 2 slices of wholemeal nimble, 400g loaf, and filled it with hard boiled egg and some tomato, followed by a muller light. Didn't get to read replies before lunch, so maybe I should of had a side salad with this.

Hi Derbynanny, not ignoring you, just haven't been on forum lately. My weigh in was today, and much to my surprise i have lost 4lb this week. I have been having a mixture a red/green days this week, with only one EE day where i made the cottage pie, i followed the recipe to the letter and couldn't believe how much there was, it really was nice. I had a funeral to go to last Friday, best friends mum died, and i was determined to not eat the buffet type foods that were on offer, who was i kidding, but the sausage rolls were nice. I don't normally drink alcohol, last time being Christmas, but my friend said her mum would want me to have a"good ol' drink", so despite my refusals the baileys flowed far to much. So all in all i was dreading today's wi, but well, maybe a blow out every so often is what helps me along the way. I have probably been having to much "diet" food, and not enough variety. Will see what next weeks weight loss, if any, is before i pass judgement, although no alcohol this week though.

Hi Kim, if you have a 1/2hr lunch break at work or perhaps just want a really quick meal, what about 1/2 can (or whole lot if very hungry) of Asda / Morrisons Chick Pea Dahl (free) with some cous cous. I had this today followed by a bowl of mixed fruit (strawbs, blackberry & grapes) smothered with a free yoghurt as my 1/3 superfree. Delish. Before I started SW one of my fav quick meals unwittingly turned out to be very EE friendly - 1/2 can baked beans + 1/2 can tomatoes + cous cous (again followed by fruit). I also make a batch of muffin sized SW free quiche and take 3 or 4 into work - 1 or 2 for mid morning / afternoon muchies (if required) and 2 with some baked beans or beetroot for lunch. Again, with them being in season, I always follow with mixed fruit & yoghurt for my superfree.
