Starting Week 9 - hungry!!!

The last couple of days I've really felt hungry. Actual stomach growling hunger, fairly sure it's not emotional, and not just the empty feeling we're all used to. I couldn't sleep last night for it and I feel the same today. I'm definitely in ketosis as I've checked. I'm wondering if it's the cold, or if I need an extra 1/2 pack a day. I already split my bar so I can eat every 3 to 4 hours but it just doesn't seem to be enough right now.
I think I may also need to adjust my goal as I think another stone might do me, I feel quite small already even though I'm still not quite in the "healthy" bracket.
Anyway, if anyone's got any words of wisdom, I'd be grateful for any thoughts.

Hi am new to this site just trying get to grips with it. I have been feeling hungry for past few days and a dunno why am struggling to get that 1/2lb off to a stone and its getting to me . what plan do you follow? :)
 
Is that Slimming World? I've never followed that but a friend of mine had great results a year or so back, she said once she was into the swing of it, it was quite easy to follow.
 
Yeah slimming world its amazing how much food you can eat on the plan that is Free but i have to have my plan abit plain as i have trouble with my gallbladder so i can't have spicey stuff etc which is abit of a let down but i mange to change my food about add differrnt things into it etc x

How about drinking hot water? Sounds odd I know but loads of cold water does the same to me, so boil the kettle and have a warm drink, maybe worth a try.

I had decided that I would have an extra 1/2 pack if absolutely necessary.
Grrrrr! Early night coming on I think!

Difference being Jayden this section is for Exante diet. Its a total food replacement diet where your body goes into ketosis. The problems we might face on it are far different to those people on a food diet will have.

At the risk of sounding rude it doesnt help if someone is struggling on a TFR diet to then read about how much you can eat on another diet
 
I did end up having an extra shake last night, but that's fine, I really felt I needed it. I feel much better today, had my packs at the normal times so I've still got soup for tea then 1/2 bar to eat tonight. It was horrible yesterday - I was starting to feel a bit panicky about having to have extra, which probably made the hungry feeling worse! At least I know now that in times of desperation I can have the extra pack and it's not the end of the world :) Hope everyone's having a good Tuesday xx
 
ahh i was just going to suggest totm i was so hungry last week and i did have 4 packs i think one day i had 4 and a half. plus drinking loads of the bouillon drinks. just try and be strong it will pass hun.
 
The exante site recommends 3 or 4 packs a day, if you are hungry its because your body needs the extra food, especially at totm. Much better to have another pack (which still only equates to 800 cals a day) than go on a food fest.

Well done for reaching 9 weeks on it! im very impressed :) especially as i was cracking on day 4 lol.

thats exactly what i thought and what i done last week. just dont have 2 bars like what i done it did slow ketosis

Thanks Lynn - I was considering making a protein choice, but I'm sooooooooo glad I didn't - I just need to keep things simple for now. If I need an extra pack once a month, that's no problem!
Oh, and I was also cracking on day 4. And day 5. And day 6! But glad to say I've stayed 100%.
